If you need a refresher, Final Fantasy XIII-2 is the sequel to the original FFXIII and Lightning Returns: FFXIII. Though Lightning makes an appearance, the spotlight is on her younger sister Serah and newcomer Noel Kreiss.
Following the events of the first game and people’s relocation to Gran Pulse, everyone forgot Lightning existed. Over time, paradoxes also began to emerge. In order to fix the timeline and figure out what’s going on, Serah and Noel go back in time.
