Dying Light 2 developer Techland released a fresh update for the PC version of the game. Techland has given Dying Light 2 a lot of support on all of its platforms since its launch in the first quarter of last year.
Additionally, PC players are currently receiving the update a little early along with a sizable new feature, whereas those using PlayStation and Xbox consoles will need to wait a little longer.
Right now, PC users can download and set up the most recent update for Dying Light 2. This update isn’t particularly substantial because it appears to only be intended to set the stage for a brand-new in-game event that will begin later today.
In addition, Techland has tried to fix a few other bugs that have been discovered in Dying Light 2 to slightly enhance the overall gameplay. However, the most noteworthy update for Dying Light 2 on PC is that it finally verifies Steam Deck for the open-world game.
As a result, DL2 can now be played on the hardware more easily than ever before and is now natively compatible with Valve’s handheld PC platform. It’s great to see that Techland has finally included this much-requested feature, even though it only affects those who actually own a Steam Deck.
There won’t be much longer to wait for this update to arrive for those who play Dying Light 2 on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, or Xbox One. This patch will be available on all of these platforms starting on, March 21, according to Techland.
