Diablo 4, the current installment in Blizzard Entertainment’s iconic action role-playing game series, will receive a new patch on November 7, 2023. For both the Seasonal and Eternal realms, patch 1.2.2 will include new features, gameplay tweaks, and bug fixes. Here are some of the patch notes’ highlights:
Diablo 4 Patch 1.2.2
Malignant Rings
The Malignant Rings, which are five new unique rings based on the popular Malignant Powers from Season of the Malignant, are one of the most intriguing additions in patch 1.2.2. These rings may be won by fighting the Echo of Varshan and are available for each class.
The Malignant Rings offer particular effects that boost the classes’ skills and abilities, such as:
- Ring of Red Furor (Barbarian): After spending 100 Fury in 3 seconds, guarantees a critical strike and enhances vital strike damage with Hammer of the Ancients, Upheaval, or Death Blow.
- Tal Rasha’s Iridescent Loop (Sorcerer): Increases damage for each type of elemental damage dealt and refreshes introductory damage bonuses.
- Airidah’s Inexorable Will (Druid): Attracts distant opponents and delivers physical damage to them when an Ultimate Skill is cast, and again 5 seconds later. The amount of Willpower the Druid has increased the damage.
- When casting a Subterfuge Skill, the Writhing Band of Trickery (Rogue) leaves behind a Decoy Trap that teases and lures foes and bursts after 3 seconds, delivering shadow damage. This can happen every 12 seconds.
- Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul (Necromancer): Activates the equipped talents. Raise Skeleton, Corpse Explosion, and Corpse Tendrils on corpses in the Necromancer’s vicinity.
