Bungie just dropped a fresh trailer for Destiny 2’s upcoming Festival of the Lost, hitting the game on October 17. This Halloween-themed event started back in 2015 and has grown a lot since.
Players used to gather candy, snag masks of different characters, and get loot from Mystery Bags, Consumables, and fancy Eververse store items. Now, it’s even bigger in Destiny 2, with more stuff to do, more rewards, and new activities like Haunted Lost Sectors.
This year’s Festival of the Lost is getting even bigger and better. Recently, Bungie has made some cool changes. You can now play Legendary Haunted Lost Sectors to get awesome rewards for beating tougher challenges.
Additionally, the event also has a rare Memento drop and a new resource called Eerie Engrams. These engrams can give you gear right away or be used at Eva Levante’s for legendary weapons or exotic gear.
Today, Festival of the Lost is starting in Destiny 2, and Bungie has released a new trailer showing what you can do in this special event and some cool items you can get.

The event’s special armor set is called Creepy Crawlies, which was chosen by players and transforms characters into bugs and spiders. Cosmetics like emotes and masks, including one resembling the raid boss Rhulk, are a big part of this three-week event, and the trailer highlights them.
The Destiny 2 trailer also reveals a fun activity called Legendary Lost Sectors. In these, players wearing masks can defeat enemies to earn candy and a shot at cool rewards like Eerie Engrams.
This year, Bungie introduced a powerful new weapon called Acosmic, a heavy grenade launcher that creates a sort of black hole explosion when its grenades go off. And they’re bringing back last year’s Mechabre Sniper Rifle, along with the Jurassic Green Pulse Rifle and Horror Story Auto Rifle.
During this year’s Festival of the Lost in Destiny 2, players can get some cool exotic gear. The Eerie Engrams are super useful because you can use them to get exotic armor from the early days of Destiny 2 all the way to the Witch Queen expansion.
What’s even cooler is that Bungie made it possible for players to get exotic gear they haven’t collected before. This means you can get new exotic armor without needing to do a lot of tough tasks like Legendary or Master Lost Sectors.
