If you enjoyed playing the Warhammer: Vermintide games, you’re in for something exciting! Warhammer 40K: Darktide is a first-person shooter game in the Warhammer 40K universe. It was developed and published by Fatshark, the same studio that created the Warhammer: Vermintide series.

Darktide is a spiritual successor to Vermintide and features similar gameplay mechanics, such as a four-player co-op and hordes of enemies to fight against. It was first released for PC players on November 30, 2022.

Warhammer 40K: Darktide will be released for Xbox Series X|S on October 4, 2023. It was initially announced in 2020 and is being developed by Fatshark, the same studio behind the Vermintide series.

You can pick from two editions of the Xbox Series X/S version of Warhammer 40k Darktide. It will also be available on Game Pass from the first day it’s released.

Warhammer 40K: Darktide Gameplay

The game works kind of like Fatshark’s Warhammer: Vermintide 2. In this game, you and three friends team up to beat computer-controlled enemies that come in waves.

Instead of picking from existing characters, you can create your own by choosing your class, how you look, and if you’re a guy or a girl. There are four classes you can pick from: Veteran, Zealot, Ogryn, and Psyker. And all these classes have a shield that can heal itself over time.

In Vermintide 2, there can be several missions in one area. In some missions, players can do extra tasks to get better items. The game has different difficulty settings: one makes more enemies appear, and the other makes enemies hurt less.

You can earn rewards by chance as you play, collect in-game money to buy weapons or make contracts to get a specific weapon. You can also make your weapons better and stronger by crafting.
