A spacecraft from Potato World is involved in a collision with a planet from another world. The lone survivor was a potato named Brotato, who was unique among his kind in that he could wield six different weapons at once. Brotato must fight to stay alive in this dangerous environment as he waits to be rescued by his friends.
Any chance for consoles in the future after PC is squared away?

This game is just amazing. Because the trial version has given us so many hours of enjoyment, we decided to buy the full version as soon as we found out it was available. If you like run-based games, twin-stick games, bullet hell games, and random item games, then you don’t need to look any further.
If you own a Steam Deck, we are willing to guess that you have just stumbled into one of your new favorite games as well, seeing as how it has wonderful control and performs like a dream (at least half of my hours were played on my deck)
If you don’t hear much from me over the course of the next week, it’s probably because I’ve been too busy learning about Brotato. This is just another in the long history of wave-based horde survival games, and it’s really rather good. Note: this was a purchase for personal use.
Proton 7, which was made available for Early Access on September 27th, performs well right out of the box on both desktop computers and Steam Decks. Because it was built using Godot, which has great support for Linux, the developer “may” also offer a Native release later on. This shouldn’t be too much of a problem, however, because it was developed with Godot.
The longer you are able to stay alive in Vampire Survivors, the more powerful your character will get. The gameplay is quite similar to that of other horde games, such as Vampire Survivors. At least here, real scheduled waves have been restored back, and as a result, you are given a break in between each round of action to level up your character, acquire new weapons and stuff, and prepare for the next wave.
This one gives you the ability to design some pretty amazing character builds, and the fact that you can actually sell weapons if you desire something better is probably my favorite aspect of this one. You may even combine the same weapons in order to make them more powerful while also freeing up a slot for anything else.
Playing Factors
- guns that fire automatically by default but also provide the ability to manually aim.
- Fast runs (under 30 minutes).
- You may choose from dozens of different characters to tailor your runs (one-handed, crazy, lucky, mage, and many more).
- There are hundreds of different things and weapons to choose from (flamethrowers, SMGs, rocket launchers, or sticks and stones).
- Maintain your composure through waves that last anywhere from 20 to 90 seconds apiece, and eliminate as many enemies as you can throughout that time.
- While waves of opponents are being fought, you may earn experience by collecting resources and purchasing things from the store.
- Accessibility settings allow you to adjust the amount of health, damage, and speed that adversaries have so that the game is at the proper level of difficulty for you.
- A suggestion that needs no more explanation. It was a ton of fun.
