NetherRealm Studios and WB Games have unveiled Mortal Kombat 1, a new Mortal Kombat game that will launch in 2023 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

A day later, the first batch of DLC characters for the game that will be included in the first Kombat Pack has leaked. The information was revealed through a description of the game on Amazon Italy, which references Kombat Pack 1 and the six playable characters and five kameo characters included.

As a result, the following characters will be included in Kombat Pack 1 as playable DLC characters: Homelander, Quan Chi, Omni Man, Ermac, Peacemaker, and Takeda. Tremor, Johnny Cage, Khameleon, Mavado, and Ferra are the five Kameo characters referenced.

Also mentioned is a Johnny Cage skin for Jean Claude Van Damme. However, this final detail was verified yesterday. To be clear, Johnny Cage’s inclusion in the base game has been confirmed. He’s included among the Kameo characters, probably a nod to the Jean-Claude Van Damme costume.

This part is unclear on Amazon Italy, but it might be a translation problem. It would be best to consider anything here with a grain of salt. This is unofficial information that has leaked.  That being said, this list is actual and correct based on our knowledge about the game.

Additionally, there is a possibility that an official announcement may be forthcoming now that the information has leaked. None of the parties involved in this leak have commented at the time of publication.

A well-known Ubisoft source recently indicated that they already knew the day Assassin’s Creed Mirage would release. It was explicitly stated that the upcoming AC game would release on October 12 this year.

Amazon Games said that it is developing a brand-new MMO video game based on The Lord of the Rings. The Lord of the Rings IP, which includes all of the author J.R.R. Tolkien’s many works, was recently reported as having been fully acquired by Embracer Group.

A little over a year after this agreement was reached, Embracer has now disclosed that it will work with Amazon to develop a big MMO that will probably not open for quite some time. The first general information about this Lord of the Rings MMO was revealed via a press release on Embracer’s website.

The game, which is still in its early stages of production, is supposed to take place in a sizable open world. Further details about the project, which is still in its early stages, weren’t provided by Embracer, although it was stated that it is intended for both console and PC platforms.

Again, considering how early in the production process this new Lord of the Rings game appears to be, it’s probable that we won’t see or hear much of the game for a while. With Forza Motorsport 7 arriving in 2017, the eighth Forza Motorsport has been in production for a while. The racer was first displayed at Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase in 2020, where it was disclosed that the following title would completely dispense with the numeral.

Because Forza Horizon 5 was published before this most recent Motorsport, it appears that developer Turn 10 has had difficulties getting it ready for primetime. The eighth Forza Motorsport, though, may eventually release later this year, according to a recent source.

Halo Infinite has had a somewhat difficult post-launch. Along with losing some of its most prominent employees over time, 343 Industries is also failing to provide the support and content that its customers expected.

Of course, the team has been releasing fresh patches to help shore up some of this, but a recent leak suggests that 343 will be making even more progress by releasing new maps. Although nothing official has yet been revealed, this would likely fit in with other recent leaks that said: “more than 20 maps are currently in the works.”

Halo Leaks on Twitter is the source of the two leaked maps. Although this account has successfully released information about Halo Infinite in the past, you shouldn’t put all your faith in it. It’s wise to approach this leak with a healthy dose of skepticism, as with any leak.

Having said that, something does seem to be going on. Solitude is the name of one of the maps that are being leaked. Those who have followed Halo Leaks for a while may recall that the account revealed an early version of that map in August 2022.

Those two releases undoubtedly originate from the same source, but at least there is some consistency across the leaks. Additionally, Solitude is allegedly a Forge-created recreation of Plaza from Halo 5, according to Halo Leaks.

The title of the other map is just “Forest” for the time being. This map appears to be a recent production from the development team, in contrast to Solitude. If that reported estimate of more than 20 maps is accurate, we can anticipate getting a fair mix of new and remade maps moving ahead given the amount of labor required to construct a balanced map.
