KeokeN, the company that made Deliver Us the Moon and Deliver Us Mars, had to let go of all its staff. Because they couldn’t find enough money to keep going.
The CEO and managing director, Koen Deetman and Paul Deetman, explained on Twitter why they had to do this. They said that even after attending the big Game Developer Conference this year, they couldn’t find any good opportunities.
Heartbroken, we’ve had to lay off our team at KeokeN because of nothing substantial materializing directly after our visit to GDC. We’ve unfortunately exhausted all our possible options for publishing, work for hire, and co-development.

Also, they couldn’t find anyone to help publish their games or pay them to work on other projects to make more money.
They also said that they’ll try to fund their next game, Deliver Us Home, through Kickstarter. They’re getting ready to start a campaign for it. They didn’t say much else about the new game, but they’re determined to build up their company again, step by step.
Deliver Us the Moon came out in 2018, and Deliver Us Mars came out last year. Both games are on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
