EA’s Motive Studio will be collaborating on the next Battlefield game alongside DICE, Criterion, and Ripple Effect.
In a post on the game’s website, EA announced that Motive Studio, known for Star Wars: Squadron and the recent Dead Space remake, will form a team dedicated to developing the new game.
Motive’s general manager Patrick Klaus mentioned that the team will be led by Dead Space remake creative director Roman Campos-Oriola and executive producer Philippe Ducharme.
They have experience in storytelling, creating immersive battles, and using the Frostbite engine, which makes them a great fit for advancing Battlefield’s vision under Vince Zampella and Byron Beede.
