Hades, Supergiant Games’ beloved rogue-like in which you struggle to escape the Underworld of Greek myth, is coming to Apple devices via Netflix in 2024.
Hades will be released for iOS without any in-game commercials, extra fees, or in-app purchases, similar to other Netflix games. It will just be accessible to play like before, just on more Netflix-enabled devices!

“Hades is a one-of-a-kind rogue-lite that sets the bar for creatively combining wildly different genres and using their strengths to complement each other in unexpected ways,” we said in a press release. The combination of satisfying, twitch-based fighting and the Rogue-lite prospect of breaking the game through a lucky draw of boons and power-ups makes you feel like a god.
“Above all, however, is how Hades connects narrative progression to its gameplay cycle. Failed runs, player choice, and built-up relationships are created moments that seem unique to your playthrough in a manner that no other game has ever attempted.”

More people playing Hades will undoubtedly benefit Supergiant Games, which is hard at work on Hades 2, which is planned to launch in Early Access in Spring 2024.
