Konami revealed the first gameplay trailer for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater at the Xbox Partner Preview event. And it looks stunning.
The gameplay trailer, while brief, demonstrated the characteristic stealth gameplay in action, from Snake crossing the water near a crocodile to him about to kill an enemy with a pistol outfitted with a Silencer attachment.
Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake Gameplay
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has released new in-game footage that demonstrates astonishing realistic graphics created with Unreal Engine 5. Metal Gear Solid 3 is one of Konami’s best games, so fans are excited to see if the remake can live up to the anticipation.
Metal Gear Solid Delta, which was first announced in May, is being developed by Konami’s in-house team and Virtuos, which has worked on ports for titles such as Final Fantasy 10 and Nier Automata.
The game is the centerpiece of Metal Gear Solid’s newest rebirth, which also includes two remaster collections of prior classics.
During Xbox Partner Preview, gamers were able to glimpse a movie showcasing in-game footage of Metal Gear Solid 3’s remake. Snake can be seen sneaking around in the jungle, traversing murky waterways, and hiding from hostile soldiers under bushes in the video.
The video also includes some close-ups of local wildlife, such as birds and crocodiles. Overall, it appears that the game’s art design is aiming for realism. The trailer also revealed that Metal Gear Solid Delta will be created with Epic’s Unreal Engine 5, which was previously speculated to be the game’s engine.
While the graphics look amazing, it’s clear that replicating a classic like Metal Gear Solid Delta would be difficult. Hideo Kojima will not work on the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake because he has been out of Konami for several years.
