We’ll tell you if we learn more, but it looks like this is all we know for now. It’s unlikely that the game will introduce this technology later, mainly because it’s designed for game releases when most game sales happen and when piracy is most common.

Payday 3 is coming out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this Thursday, September 21st, at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM BST. But if you can’t wait, you can get early access on Monday, September 18th.
