Nicolas Cage Joins Dead by Daylight in Epic Crossover

Dead by Daylight has stated that it will soon be working with adored actor Nicolas Cage in what may be the strangest crossover we’ve seen so far. Dead by Daylight has included DLC for various franchises throughout its existence, including Halloween, Saw, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Resident Evil, to name a few.

And although most of these crossovers have included other horror series, it now appears that a real-life actor will appear in the multiplayer game. Today, publisher and developer Behaviour Interactive announced that Nicolas Cage would shortly be appearing in Dead by Daylight in some capacity.

In a brand-new teaser video, Cage arrives from the shadows in a misty region before quickly glancing in the camera’s direction. Behavior Interactive did not provide any other information on this news, although it was said that more details would be available on July 5 of this year.

Behaviour Interactive’s social media tagline for the teaser trailer said, “It’s the performance of a lifetime.” “Dead by Daylight: Nicolas Cage. Coming to a realm near you.”

This teasing of Nic Cage’s appearance in Dead by Daylight may have been expected since it caused fans to go crazy. In response to this announcement, many fans expressed confusion and joy that such a collaboration would come to Dead by Daylight in their social media comments.

Others only wanted to know how this crossover would appear once wholly integrated into the game. The vast majority of player feedback thus far has been good, so this will probably be one of the most considerable DBD additions ever.
