Introduction
Throughout this initial phase of the raid, you’ll want to head straight until you reach an end, at which point you’ll want to turn left. Keep moving until you reach a large monument, and keep in mind that you have many adversaries in this area. After getting past the statue, take the passage on the left and continue along the arcing path until you reach the first confrontation.
Cataclysm
In this phase, you must destroy the light orb that grants the Field of Light benefit, and then have the player travel in the direction indicated by the orb they just destroyed.
- The team should be split in half. You get extra time in the arena if four individuals shoot the enemies. To access additional Light orbs, two players must work together to shoot at them.
- Field of Light is an event-locking item, so make sure no two players try to grab it at once.
- Your team will be wiped if you are unable to remove the Sweeping Terror debuff in time.
- Achieving a perfect connection between all of the orbs unlocks the subsequent section.
Sission
Sission is the second part of the Destiny 2: Root of Nightmares Guide. In addition to the Darkness Spear, it also possesses Light Orbs. As with the Cataclysm, the Light Orbs have an effect. Entering the Dark Spear’s interior grants you a new Buff known as Flux of Darkness. But it’s run by the same principles that govern a light field. Creating a zigzag path between the orbs is the objective.
- Divide the team in half and work on separate tasks. Both groups need to be in opposite extremes, with one on the dark side and the other on the light.
- A constant alliance between two players is required in order to clear foes and advance.
Certain foes are immune to anything save a focused beam of light. - Buff Runner, the other participant, constantly zigzags between the two sides.
- Two players are needed to clear the area around the Orb, and one must be designated to activate it. This player must seize the Field of light and activate the next Orb once the Buff runner verifies the activation of the other ball.
- Go on doing this until all three steps have been completed.
Macrocosm
If you want to win this challenge, you’ll need to get the planets in the right spots (Light planets to the right and dark planets to the left). Both sides include two triangular platforms. Once all three planets on a given platform have been placed, that platform will light up to indicate its completion.
- The first step is to eliminate the enemy.
- Divide everyone into three groups, one for each segment.
- Only one team can wipe out the adversaries.
- The Light planets must be relocated by a single team.
- The Dark planets need to be relocated, and only one team can do it.
- Upon vanquishing Colossal, you will gain the benefit known as Planetary understanding.
- After this is done, the planetary index will be displayed.
- Have a chat with your pals and divide up the solar systems. then assemble the
- planet and place it precisely where the platform needs it.
- Get rid of the bad guys before the damage phase begins.
- When the boss arrives in your direction, his shield will either be illuminated or dark. Take your place on the plate that corresponds to the hue of his shield.
- When all the plates have been utilized, the game will reset and have to be started over.
- The boss can be hurt with DPS rocket launchers.
Nezarec
The Destiny 2 Root of Nightmares Guide has reached its conclusion. Its goal is to unite the two sides’ contrasting spheres of light and shadow. Beyond this point, the damage will be dealt with. Nezarec must be shot in the chest to disable him.
If you don’t, you’ll end up with a completely useless team. Standing on either Dark Refugee or Light Refugee is your sole defense ( it is made by connecting a field of Light to Dark nod or wise versa. )
- The Field of Light and the Field of Dark can only be linked by two players.
- In this cooperative game, two players work together to eliminate the threat.
- Nezarec must be shot in the chest by two players.
- Nazarec should be shot once the connecting fields are finished.
The Damage Phase has now begun. - Void Weaken grenades or Shadowshots can be used in conjunction with rockets and Fusion Grenades to deal damage and remove his buffs.
- Take a Dark refugee when the Nazarec’s shoulder is black; take a Light refugee when it is white.
- Reduce Nazarec’s health to zero and finish the raid successfully.
As so, this concludes our abbreviated guide to Destiny 2’s raid. When you’ve finished everything, bask in your accomplishment. Those tasked with keeping the peace, best of luck!

Frequently asked questions
How long are destiny 2 raids?
Last Wish and Guardian of the Order of St. John are the most mechanic-intensive raids; avoid them if time is of the essence. Most raids last around an hour, making a sotp equivalent to that. My typical contribution time is 1.5 hours. As a rule, a Sherpa run is much longer (I have had new fireteams take around 3 hours to learn a raid).
Which Destiny raid took the longest?
Destiny 2: The Last Wish. The Last Wish raid is the longest and most difficult in Destiny's history, but its duration and pacing are well thought out, and its difficulty is not due to random intricacy.
