Microsoft has announced three new games that will be available on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service from the middle of August 2023. While three might not seem like a lot, it’s like a small preview before they add more exciting games later. So, there’s some cool stuff to look forward to!

The Xbox Game Pass lineup for August 2023 has fewer new games than usual, but there are some really exciting ones on the way. One of the big highlights is the game Starfield, which will be available on Xbox Game Pass starting on September 6.

If you’re eager to play and willing to pay $34.99 for the Premium Edition Upgrade, you can even start playing it on September 1 or the night of August 31, depending on where you live.

And don’t forget, there’s also Forza Motorsport coming in October, along with many more Xbox Game Pass games planned for the rest of 2023.

Even though many new games won’t be added to Xbox Game Pass in the latter part of August 2023, there are still a few exciting ones. One of them is called The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and it will be available on Xbox Game Pass starting August 18, the same day it’s released.

Another game is called Sea of Stars, a nostalgic role-playing game that will be added to the Xbox Game Pass on August 29—additionally, the popular indie game Firewatch will be included on August 17.

1. Firewatch

Firewatch is a video game that was on Xbox Game Pass before. It got lots of prizes when it came out in 2016. It’s a game where the story is important, like going on an adventure. The way it looks and feels in the game are the coolest parts. If you like that, you might want to try it when it returns to Xbox Game Pass on August 17th.

2. Sea of Stars

Sea of Stars is a video game where you take turns in battles and go on adventures. It’s like a special kind of game that remembers old games from a long time ago. People are excited about Sea of Stars. If you like games with heroes and magic, you’ll be happy to know that on August 29, you can start playing it on Xbox Game Pass immediately!

3. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is a brand-new scary game that you can play with your friends. It’s a bit like other games like Dead by Daylight or Friday the 13th: The Game, but it’s based on the Texas Chain Saw movie.

The special thing is that there are three instead of just one bad guy! This can make the game super exciting. You can only play this game online, and since it will be available on Xbox Game Pass, there should be plenty of people to play with right from the start.
