The Star Wars Jedi: Survivor final trailer was released today in time for Star Wars Celebration. Jedi: Survivor’s scheduled release in late April is already just a few weeks away.

And although we’ve already been getting a much better look at the game as its release date gets closer, Electronic Arts and the game’s creator Respawn Entertainment have now given us one final preview of what the much-awaited title will have in store.

Overall, the most recent Star Wars Jedi: Survivor trailer (which you can watch in the tweet below) showcases a lot of the new skills and foes that the main character Cal Kestis will be up against. In addition, it offers us a better understanding of what the game’s main plot will ultimately be.

Although Respawn has kept many aspects of Jedi: Survivor a secret, it appears that the stakes for Kestis and his friends this time around will be significantly higher.

The Official Account EA Stars Wars share a tweet:

“The story of Cal Kestis continues in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, a third-person, galaxy-spanning, action-adventure game from Respawn Entertainment, developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games,” says the game’s official description.

“This narratively driven, single-player title picks up 5 years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and follows Cal’s increasingly desperate fight as the galaxy descends further into darkness. Pushed to the edges of the galaxy by the Empire, Cal will find himself surrounded by threats new and familiar. As one of the last surviving Jedi Knights, Cal is driven to make a stand during the galaxy’s darkest times — but how far is he willing to go to protect himself, his crew, and the legacy of the Jedi Order?”

The sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is scheduled to arrive later this month on April 27th, if you haven’t already marked that date on your calendar. Only current-generation systems, such as the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC, will be able to support it when it launches.
