REDSTREAM DISPATCH: Bodycam Horror Shooter Aims for December on PS5 and PC

REDSTREAM DISPATCH, a first-person horror shooter shown through a police officer’s bodycam, is planned for December 2026 on PS5 and PC. Its developer, N0N, told Game Empress in an email on November 2 that “no firm release day is announced” yet. Glacier LTD is publishing it.

The game’s Steam page lists the release as “December 2026” for Windows. The PlayStation Store page only says “coming soon”, and its ESRB rating is still pending. Neither store shows a price.

A routine call that turns violent

You play a cop answering a series of dispatch calls. According to the Steam description, a routine call escalates into a fight with Redstream, an underground streaming group. Your goals are to clear each scenario, find and rescue a missing girl, extract proof and get out alive.

The developer says the encounters are driven by systems, not scripts. Enemy spawns and threat placement change between runs, and there are no fixed set pieces.

Combat is built to be hard. There is no character leveling or stat progression, and dying resets the scenario, so you improve only by getting better. Enemies react to where they are hit through ragdoll physics, and the store page says dismemberment depends on the weapon’s caliber. More scenarios are planned as DLC.

What the store pages add

  • Mature content: Steam’s content note warns of graphic violence, gunfights, knife combat, dismemberment and gore. It says there is no explicit sexual content and that nudity on corpses is obscured or pixelated.
  • AI use: the developer’s Steam disclosure says generative AI tools helped create “a small number of static pictures and audio files”.
  • A demo listing: Steam also has a free REDSTREAM DISPATCH Demo page marked “coming soon”. It gives no date.
  • PS5 features: the PlayStation Store lists the game as single-player, with optional vibration and trigger effects.
  • Language: Steam lists English only, with full audio.

The demo page names the developer as Virtual Villain, and the main game’s Steam page links to an X account called @0VirtualVillain. Steam also hosts a separate REDSTREAM listing from VirtualVillain, a bodycam mission set in a derelict shelter that streams gore on the dark web, also with a missing girl to find. Neither page explains how the two projects are connected.
