Super GT Driver Confirms: Motegi is Back in Gran Turismo!

The popular Twin Ring Motegi circuit is coming back to the Gran Turismo game series. Takayuki Aoki, a long-time racer in Super GT, shared this news.

Motegi, now called Mobility Resort Motegi, was in Gran Turismo games like GT4 and GT5 as a paid add-on. But it wasn’t in GT Sport. The oval track at Motegi was special. It had a 1.5-mile oval on top of a road course.

This layout made it unique. The real Gran Turismo Cafe is also there, but it doesn’t look like the one in GT7.

After GT5 came out, a big earthquake hit Japan. Motegi might have been damaged, so the oval track wasn’t used for races after that. But Motegi still hosts races for Super GT and Super Formula.

Even though Super Formula works with Gran Turismo, Motegi wasn’t in the game. But Aoki says that might change. A fan asked if Motegi is coming to Gran Turismo, and Aoki said someone working on the game told him they’re making it happen.

    Also Read:

This doesn’t mean Motegi will be in the game, or when it’ll come. GT7 has been out for a while, and updates to add new tracks are rare. But it’s likely Motegi is on the list of tracks Polyphony Digital, the game’s developer, wants to add. And any damage to the oval track probably won’t stop it from being in the game.

  • Steam May Be Ditching Refund Limits for Helldivers 2 Players: What We Know

Steam May Be Ditching Refund Limits for Helldivers 2 Players: What We Know

Lots of people who play Helldivers 2 have said they got their money back from Steam, even if they played for more than two hours.

Helldivers 2 has been popular on PlayStation and PC this year. But recently, things have changed. PlayStation said PC players must sign in to a PlayStation Network account to play.

Refunds on Steam work – here is good guy Steam accepting simple, straightforward logic.
    byu/lockes5hadow inHelldivers

They said it’s for safety and to stop bad behavior. But PC players don’t like this change. They’ve gone to Helldivers 2’s page on Steam and given it bad ratings. Before, it was rated “Very Positive,” but now it’s “Mostly Negative.” This change happened quickly, with over 148,000 bad ratings in just a few days.

Some players don’t mind signing in, but it’s a problem for players in countries without PlayStation Network. If PlayStation keeps this rule, it means people in those countries can’t play Helldivers 2 on PC.

Because of this, many players want refunds for the game. Even though they played for more than two hours, Steam seems to be giving refunds. Some players have gotten refunds, like Redditor lockes5hadow.

But not everyone gets a refund. Some people said their request was denied. It’s not clear who can get a refund and who can’t. Some players say asking for help instead of using the refund button might work better. Others say you might need to ask for a refund more than once.

  • V Rising PS5 Release Date Countdown: When Can You Unleash Your Inner Vampire?

V Rising PS5 Release Date Countdown: When Can You Unleash Your Inner Vampire?

V Rising is leaving early access on PC soon and bringing lots of new stuff. It’s a game about vampires. They’re also bringing it to PS5. But when exactly is the V Rising PS5 release date? And will it be at the same time as the PC release?

    V Rising PS5 Release Date

    V Rising PS5 Release Date
    V Rising PS5 Release Date

Unfortunately, the full release of V Rising won’t happen on PlayStation 5 at the same time as on PC. PS5 players will have to wait a bit longer to sink their teeth into the game.

What’s even more disappointing is that we don’t know the exact release date for V Rising on PS5 yet. It could come out a month after the PC release or even in December, but it will be sometime in 2024.

    V Rising 1.0 Release Time

The V Rising servers will be turned off from May 6th to May 8th, 2024, so the developers can get everything ready for the big launch.

The official V Rising X account shared details about the global launch and when the update will be ready for players in different parts of the world. Players in the PDT region will get it first, starting at 4 AM on May 8th.

    Region/Time Zone Release Time
    Los Angeles (PDT) 4:00 AM
    Denver (MST) 5:00 AM
    Mexico City (CST) 6:00 AM
    New York (EDT) 7:00 AM
    São Paulo (BRT) 8:00 AM
    London (BST) 12:00 PM
    Cape Town (SAST) 1:00 PM
    Stockholm (CEST) 1:00 PM
    Ankara (EEST) 2:00 PM
    Abu Dhabi (GST) 3:00 PM
    Shenzen (CST) 7:00 PM
    Tokyo (JST) 8:00 PM
    Sydney (AEST) 9:00 PM
    Wellington (NZST) 11:00 PM

If you’re already playing the early access version of the game, you’ll have to start fresh when the 1.0 update arrives to enjoy all the new stuff. But trust me, it’s worth it because there’s a ton of cool content coming with the full launch.

One big change is the addition of different difficulty modes and some scary new enemies to fight. And get this: you can even go toe-to-toe with Dracula himself if you’re brave enough to challenge him for his throne!

On top of that, there are some smaller changes like new cosmetic skins to make your character look cool, tweaks to the combat system to make it even better, and some fancy decorations for your castle.

If you’re into extra stuff, there are some DLC packs available too. Here’s what you can get:

    • Dracula’s Relics Pack (Cosmetic items)
    • Founder’s Pack: Eldest Bloodline (More cosmetic items)
    • Haunted Nights Castle Pack (Decorations for your castle)
    • Sinister Evolution Pack (More decorations for your castle)

Does the PS5 Version Offer the Same Features as the PC One?

When the PS5 release date arrives, fans might be happy to hear that it will be the complete 1.0 version of the game. It should include all the content and improvements from the full PC version. However, it’s unclear if it will be the same as the PC version at that point.

The PS5 version may only be at the 1.0 stage and slightly behind the current PC version. But for now, we’ll just have to wait and see. At least we can expect the PS5 version to skip the early access phase.

  • Destiny 2 Zero Hour Release Date: Is It Time to Re-claim Outbreak Perfected?

Destiny 2 Zero Hour Release Date: Is It Time to Re-claim Outbreak Perfected?

Destiny 2 is getting a big update called Into the Light soon, which will be free for players. It’s like a collection of the best stuff from the game before a new expansion called The Final Shape comes out in June. They’ve already shown off some favorite weapons that will be coming back.

But now, they’re bringing back two cool missions: The Whisper and Zero Hour. These missions are special because they give players a chance to get powerful Exotic gear. They were taken out of the game a while ago, but now they’re making a comeback with the Into the Light update.

The developers at Bungie have also said that they’ve added some new surprises and changes to make these missions feel fresh and exciting again. So, players can look forward to diving back into these awesome adventures soon!

Destiny 2 Zero Hour Release Date

Destiny 2 Zero Hour Release Date
Destiny 2 Zero Hour Release Date

The Zero Hour mission is making a comeback in Destiny 2 on May 14, about a month after the Into The Light update launches. It will be the last big thing added to the update.

Just like the new weapons coming with the BRAVE arsenal, Zero Hour is one of the things in the update that will be released slowly over time. This is to give players more reasons to keep playing until The Final Shape expansion in June.

But don’t worry, this delay gives players more time to enjoy The Whisper mission and earn all its rewards before Zero Hour arrives.

Unlike before, Zero Hour will have two difficulty levels: Normal and Legend. Normal is good for people who haven’t played it much before and gives a longer time of 40 minutes to finish. Legend mode is tougher with a 20-minute timer and holds more secrets to discover.

    EXOTICS

      • Reduced damage bonus from 20% to 15%.

    • Micro-Missile
      • Redesigned this perk to be a weapon intrinsic. It’s rebuilt to do less direct damage vs. players, but with dramatically more self-physics impulse.
      • Retuned its PvE damage to be competitive with other Breech-Loaded Grenade Launchers.
      • Increased its reload speed slightly.
      • Since this is now an intrinsic on The Mountaintop, Micro-Missile has been replaced with Rampage in the first trait slot on old versions of the weapon.

      • Fixed an issue that could cause Slice to lose stacks when shooting an enemy with a weapon that has a rapid rate of fire.

    • Wish-Ender

    GENERAL

    • Fixed an issue where Dares and Wellspring Fireteam Finders would try to launch the Salvage activity.

  • Fallout 4 Free Download: 20 Hours of New Quests Await!

Fallout 4 Free Download: 20 Hours of New Quests Await!

Fallout 4’s new-gen update finally arrived last week after several delays, but not everyone is thrilled about it.

Some players liked the better graphics, but others said the changes were hard to see.

The update caused issues for PC players who use mods, as it broke some of the game’s most important mods.

    Fallout 77 Update Version 1.7.9.7
    Fallout 77 Update Version 1.7.9.7

If you don’t play with mods, you don’t need to worry. But if you love using mods, it’s better to wait until modders fix them before installing the update.

Interest in Fallout is high right now, thanks to the Prime Video TV show. It got 65 million viewers in just two weeks, making it the second most-watched debut on Prime Video, after The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

If you’re getting back into Fallout and like trying mods, I have a great one to recommend. It’s called ‘Flashy (Joer) – Gun For Hire – Commonwealth Mercenary Jobs’ by NexusMods user FlashyJoer. It adds about 20 hours of extra gameplay.

The mod lets you play as a mercenary doing various jobs, like working for Valentine’s Detective Agency or running your own business. There are over 34 different jobs with 125+ outcomes in many locations. Plus, you get an office space and a vertibird later on, and you can recruit up to three teammates.

‘Gun For Hire’ has 27 quests and lots of jobs to keep you busy for hours. It took FlashyJoer over 2,000 hours to make, and over 370,000 players have enjoyed it so far.

If you’re thinking of installing Fallout 4’s new-gen update, be careful. It hasn’t been changed recently, so there might still be issues with it.

  • Clorinde’s Electro Reign Continues: Leaked Video Explores Dendro Synergies

Clorinde’s Electro Reign Continues: Leaked Video Explores Dendro Synergies

A new leak from Genshin Impact has shown a video of the upcoming five-star character Clorinde being used in teams that focus on Dendro-related elemental reactions. Clorinde is set to arrive in Version 4.7, expected around June 5.

In Version 4.7, Clorinde will be joined by another five-star character named Sigewinne, who has appeared in the Fontaine storyline. Additionally, a new four-star character named Sethos, with the same Electro element as Clorinde, will also be introduced.

More Clorinde Dendro Teams via Chef
    byu/SexWithDoctwoRatio inGenshin_Impact_Leaks

Genshin Impact’s combat system allows players to create parties with up to four characters, combining their elements to trigger different elemental reactions for maximum damage. The leak reveals how Clorinde performs in teams with powerful Dendro supports like the Sumeru Archon Nahida.

Clorinde’s main role in these team compositions will be as the main DPS (damage dealer), expected to become one of the best Electro users in the game. To use Clorinde effectively in these teams, players need Nahida in their party, as she can apply Dendro damage, which interacts uniquely with Electro to apply an aura called Quicken.

However, some fans aren’t thrilled with Clorinde’s performance in these teams, suggesting she might fit better in a different party type called Overload.

Clorinde’s kit will include the Bond of Life mechanic, similar to Pyro Harbinger Arlecchino. This means players need to carefully select her support characters since Bond of Life reduces incoming healing. Since the footage is from the 4.7 beta, there’s still time for HoYoverse to make changes to Clorinde’s kit before release.

  • LEGO Fortnite Lightsabers: Where to Find and How to Use Them?

LEGO Fortnite Lightsabers: Where to Find and How to Use Them?

Star Wars has landed in LEGO Fortnite with the May 3 update, bringing along the famous Lightsaber for players to wield. Here’s how you can get it for yourself.

In LEGO Fortnite, you’ll find visitors from a galaxy far, far away, including Lightsabers for you to use in the game.

Getting the Lightsaber isn’t too hard once you know what to do, but it does require a bit of effort.

You can’t craft Lightsabers like other weapons in LEGO Fortnite. Instead, you’ll need to complete certain actions and objectives to find them.

Here’s how to get a Lightsaber in both Survival and Sandbox modes:

Getting a Lightsaber in Survival Mode:

    • When you start Survival Mode, a Star Destroyer crashes onto the map as the Imperial army chases the Rebels.
    • Your first task is to find Captain Bravara, who usually spawns next to you in a new world. Speak with her to get Macrobinoculars.
    • Use the Macrobinoculars to locate the Rebel Outpost. If you’re in an existing world and Captain Bravara doesn’t spawn, you’ll need to find the Rebel Outpost on your own. Look for its campfire smoke in the Grasslands.
    • Once you find the Rebel Outpost, you need to level up the base to Level 6. You can do this by supplying the Rebels with resources, building structures, and more.
    • Once the base reaches Level 6, Captain Bravara will give you the Lightsaber, along with some unique challenges to tackle.

Getting a Lightsaber in Sandbox Mode:

    • In Sandbox Mode, the Lightsaber is automatically added to your inventory when you start the game.
    • Simply equip it from your inventory, and it’s yours to use however you like.
  • Apex Legends Season 21: A New Era Without the 1x Digital Threat – Time for a Meta Shift?

Apex Legends Season 21: A New Era Without the 1x Digital Threat – Time for a Meta Shift?

In Apex Legends, players have been debating about the 1x Digital Threat for a while. This optic, which helps see through smoke and other obstacles, was quite popular, especially when Bangalore was a dominant character.

But now, in Season 21, the developers have decided to remove the Digital Threat from the game completely. This decision was hinted at in early notes.

During the “can’t see anything” phase of the game, the Digital Threat was a lifesaver for many players. It was mainly used on close-range weapons, like pistols and shotguns, to help see through smoke. However, even after some balance changes in Season 20, the devs decided to take it out of the game altogether.

This news comes from IGN before the official patch notes release. The Digital Threat was effective because it helped spot enemies easily during intense fights. However, limiting it to only two types of weapons made it less versatile and could be confusing for players.

Removing it from the game entirely might shake up the meta in Season 21. It could make certain legends, like Seer and Bloodhound, more viable, and change how Bangalore’s smoke is used in matches.

Keep in mind, though, that this information is based on early notes and could change before Season 21 launches.

  • Unreal Engine 5.4: Industrial Factory Demo Pushes RTX 4080 to Its Limits

Unreal Engine 5.4: Industrial Factory Demo Pushes RTX 4080 to Its Limits

The new Unreal Engine 5.4 is bringing some amazing visuals, but it’s also asking for a lot from your computer or gaming console. Even with the best graphics cards, you might have to lower some settings to keep things running smoothly.

A cool video on YouTube by MXBenchmarkPC shows off a stunning Industrial Factory tech demo made with the new Unreal Engine.

At 1440p resolution, it runs smoothly at around 80/90 frames per second (FPS) in both daytime and nighttime scenes. But when you crank up the resolution to 4K, even a powerful RTX 4080 struggles to reach a steady 60 FPS.

Getting games to run at 60 FPS in Unreal Engine 5 might be tough, especially on high-end computers. And it’s even harder on current gaming consoles. Take Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, for example.

On the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, it only runs at 30 FPS, even though it looks amazing. And on PC, most players won’t be able to run it at 4K and 60 FPS, based on the game’s system requirements.

Unreal Engine 5.4 came out at the end of last month. If you’re interested in learning more about it and its new features, you can check it out on Epic’s website.

Now, Ubisoft has a new game called XDefiant, originally called Tom Clancy’s XDefiant. It’s been through alpha and beta tests to see what players think and to make it better. It’s led by Mark Rubin, who used to work on Call of Duty, and it’s supposed to feel like the old Call of Duty games.

Our friend Samuel Tolbert tried an early version and said it was fun but needed more work.

The community agreed. They saw potential but wanted improvements. So, the game got delayed to fix things like the network and party system.

Now, it’s finally coming out. The Preseason starts on May 21st on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. It’ll last six weeks before the regular seasons start.

During the Preseason, you can play as different factions like Echelon and Phantoms, on maps like Arena and Times Square. There are modes like Domination and Escort.

After the Preseason, there will be new content every season, like new weapons, maps, and factions. Year 1 will have four new factions, twelve new weapons, and twelve new maps.

I’m excited about this game. I’ve been waiting for something that feels like the old Call of Duty games. It’s funny because I’m also working on leaks for the next Call of Duty game, and it’s making me nostalgic for the old days. Here’s hoping XDefiant brings back those memories!

Shell Yeah! Crab Soulslike Makes Waves, Exceeding All Expectations

Isn’t it frustrating when someone steals your house? Well, that’s exactly what happens to the hero crab in Another Crab’s Treasure.

You’re sent on an adventure to get your shell back and figure out what’s happening in this super-polluted part of the ocean. The game mixes tough combat like in Dark Souls with a cute cartoon style, and it’s been a huge hit, even beyond what the developers expected.

In a recent update on Steam, the developer, Aggro Crab, talked about how surprised they were by the game’s success. They’ve sold over 150,000 copies across all platforms, and players love it, giving it a 93% rating on Steam. It’s shaping up to be a big indie hit.

But with success comes challenges. Having so many players has revealed lots of bugs and issues in the game. The team knows they’ve got work to do to fix them.

However, there are only 11 people on the team, and they’re exhausted from working on the game non-stop since launch. They’re slowing down on patches for a bit to rest up and make sure they can properly test any changes before releasing them.

Bloodstained’s Final Curtain Rises! Chaos & Versus Modes Unleashed Next Week

After almost ten years since its record-breaking Kickstarter campaign, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is getting its final free update. The developers, ArtPlay, founded by the legendary Koji Igarashi of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night fame, announced Update 1.50.

This update brings two modes that were promised during the Kickstarter back in 2015: Chaos mode and VS mode.

Chaos mode is a challenge where players face a series of tough rooms and bosses solo or with friends, trying to survive as long as possible. As they progress, they unlock powerful upgrades.

VS mode is a player-versus-player mode where you battle it out in a new arena against waves of demons. You earn souls by defeating demons, which you can use to upgrade your gear or mess with your opponent, like fogging up their screen or reversing their controls. It sounds like a blast!

In addition to these modes, there will be cosmetic packs for Miriam, the game’s protagonist. One of these packs will be free, but the others will need to be purchased.

While Update 1.50 completes the promised stretch goals, it won’t be the end of new content for the game.

    Also Read:

There’s a paid expansion on the way featuring Classic Mode II, a retro-style mode with a bigger map and its storyline, which is supposed to be part of the game’s official story. No release date has been announced yet.

And even though this is the final update for Ritual of the Night, there’s still talk about a sequel brewing in the studio. We haven’t heard much about it lately, but maybe this last update will kickstart some news about it.

Helldivers 2: United We Stand, Linked by PSN We Fight!

Hey, Democracy Defenders! Listen up: Helldivers 2 is changing things up on Steam. Soon, if you play on Steam, you’ll need to link your account to a PlayStation Network (PSN) account.

Starting May 6th, all new players on Steam have to link to a PSN account. If you’re already playing, you’ve got until June 4th before it becomes mandatory.

Arrowhead Game Studios, the folks behind Helldivers 2, say this linking rule is to stop bad behavior in the game, like griefing. But a lot of players aren’t happy about it. They’re speaking out on social media and Steam, saying it’s not fair.

After the announcement, the game got hit with tons of negative reviews on Steam — over 14,000 in just one day.

People have a few reasons to be upset. Not everyone can access PSN everywhere, so some players might get locked out of the game. And there are worries about data security, especially after a recent data breach at Sony (though it mostly affected employees, not customers).

So, while making a PSN account is easy, the change has stirred up some concerns among players.

  • Street Fighter 6: Akuma Arrives! New Trailer Sets Stage for May 22nd Showdown

Street Fighter 6: Akuma Arrives! New Trailer Sets Stage for May 22nd Showdown

Akuma is coming to Street Fighter 6, and we got a full trailer of him at Evo Japan 2024. It’s not just a tease; we know when we can play as him — starting May 22nd.

In the trailer, we saw Akuma in action, showing off his classic moves and some new ones too. He’s got a bunch of cool tools in his arsenal like demon flips, flying supers, and teleports.

His new stage, Enma’s Hollow, looks dark and ominous, perfect for a character like Akuma.

One exciting thing about Akuma is that he’ll have more than 3 Super Arts. We saw his classic Raging Demon move in the trailer, separate from his regular supers. It’s not clear yet if there are special conditions to use it. Plus, he can use his Level 1 super, the Messatsu Gohado, on the ground and in the air.

If you’re a fan of Akuma’s classic look, don’t worry. He’ll have a nostalgia costume available too, so you can play as him in his old style.

    Must Read:

His moves from Street Fighter 5 are back, including the updated Tatsu and Goshoryuken.

And Akuma’s got some new tricks up his sleeve. He can teleport to dodge attacks, then launch into a combo that ends with a teleport spike. It’s all pretty cool stuff for fans of the series!

  • Genshin Impact 4.7 Leaks: Clorinde’s 5-Star Weapon is a Total Game-Changer

    Genshin Impact 4.7 Leaks: Clorinde’s 5-Star Weapon is a Total Game-Changer

Clorinde is a new character in the game Genshin Impact. She’s getting a lot of attention because of her powerful weapon, rumored to be a top-tier one. But there’s a problem with it.

The game developers haven’t officially confirmed much about Clorinde yet. We know she uses electricity powers and carries a sword, but her rank in the game is still a mystery.

Leaked info suggests that Clorinde’s weapon might be a five-star one, meaning it’s super rare and strong. It’s called Absolution and is supposed to be great for dealing damage. But there’s a catch – its design might not match Clorinde’s look.

Some leaks showed that after upgrading Absolution, it becomes bright and colorful, which doesn’t fit Clorinde’s darker style. Players are worried about this design change and hope they can switch back to the original look without losing any power.

Despite the design issue, Absolution seems like a perfect fit for Clorinde’s fighting style. It boosts critical damage, which is crucial for her role as a main attacker. Plus, it ties in with her special ability to increase damage over time.

The sword might even benefit other characters besides Clorinde. Its bonuses could work with any sword-wielding character, and it might even get a damage boost from another character’s ability.

But remember, leaked info can be wrong, and things might change before the game update releases. We’ll likely get more details closer to the update’s launch in late May.

  • Starfield’s May Update: Maps & The Sims-Style Ship Design Seal the Deal!

Starfield’s May Update: Maps & The Sims-Style Ship Design Seal the Deal!

Last September, I was in RPG heaven. Baldur’s Gate 3 came out on PS5 just as Starfield arrived, followed by Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty a few weeks later. I felt torn, wanting to play Bethesda’s new space adventure while also loving Larian’s fantasy world.

Plus, I was curious about V’s adventures in Dogtown with Idris Elba. With so many games vying for my attention, I had to make choices, and unfortunately, Starfield fell by the wayside. But now, with news of a big update coming on May 15, I’m thinking of giving it another shot.

I didn’t expect to lose interest in Starfield like I did, especially since I’m a huge space fan and have loved games like Oblivion, Skyrim, and Fallout in the past. But as I played Starfield, I got frustrated with the maps and how hard it was to get around.

It got to the point where I stopped playing altogether. However, after hearing about the May update and all the improvements it’s bringing, I’m considering diving back in.

The update addresses some of the main issues I had, like improving the surface and city maps, and even adding a decorative mode for ship interiors, which I love because I’m a big fan of The Sims.

Bethesda released a five-minute video outlining all the changes coming in the update, including a 60fps performance mode on Xbox Series X and new options to adjust difficulty and encumbrance.

But what caught my attention was how they’re improving the maps. Many players, including myself, had trouble navigating cities and finding shops or locations. The update promises to make these improvements, with clearer markers for shops and easier navigation overall.

The surface maps were also a pain to use, with a cluttered UI that made exploration less fun. But the update is changing that too, with a new aesthetic and clearer terrain details.

It looks vastly improved in the snippets shown in the video, and I’m hopeful it will make exploring cities and planets much more enjoyable.

Ship customization was another big draw for me, and I’m excited about the new decorating mode that lets us fully furnish and customize our ship interiors.

Plus, they teased a future feature: a land vehicle. I’ve always wished for something like a Star Wars speeder to make planet-side exploration easier, and I can’t wait to see how it changes the game when it’s added.
