In Minecraft 1.20, an uncommon and, above all, PINK biome will be added to the Overworld. Are you ready for it? The cherry blossom biome is coming to Java snapshots, Bedrock betas, and previews, so you had best be ready. This concludes our unveiling of Minecraft 1.20’s new features. In this picturesque ecosystem, cherry blossom trees, with their large, flat crowns that resemble pink clouds, provide a striking visual effect on the horizon. It’s no surprise that pigs, lambs, and bees—three particularly cute mobs—are attracted to this environment and will spawn there.

The cherry tree may be splintered into a complete wood set, and its logs can be used to make the new type of hanging sign that will be introduced in Minecraft 1.20. Cherry tree saplings are likewise abundant in this environment and can be planted wherever you like.

I don’t know if it was the sight of the cherry blossom trees or the fact that today is Valentine’s Day, but I found myself in the Romance section of the hidden library. I discovered a box of heart-shaped cookies (best before dates are merely suggestions, right? ), a group of Valentine’s Day cards marked return to sender, and a number of VHS tapes. However, I discovered a heart-shaped box hiding behind all of this wealth.

I plan on spending the rest of the day crafting a bouquet of blocky cherry blossoms to give to my made-up Valentine.
