Kai Cenat Aims to Be First in the World to 100% Complete GTA 6

Kai Cenat isn’t backing off his GTA 6 marathon plan — if anything, he’s raising the stakes. During his August 22 stream, he told viewers he wants to be the first person anywhere to hit 100% completion once Rockstar’s game is out.

A World-First Completion, Not a Speedrun

Rockstar hasn’t put out a completion checklist or given any sense of how long a full playthrough will run. Even outlets like GTA BOOM, who’ve tried to estimate it, admit they’re guessing until the game actually ships.

No, He’s Not Skipping Sleep for Days

One thing worth clearing up: “marathon” doesn’t mean Cenat is planning to play with zero sleep. Look at his past runs — during the Elden Ring stream, the broadcast just kept rolling while he slept. Viewers stuck around, he rested, and the marathon picked back up.

Unless he says something different this time, expect the same approach for GTA 6: a broadcast that stays live until he reaches 100% completion, not some feat of sleep deprivation.

He’s Also Staying Away From the Leaks

Cenat brought up the ongoing GTA 6 leaks during the same August 22 stream and said flatly that he hasn’t watched any of the leaked footage.

He also shot down claims going around that he, IShowSpeed, and Adin Ross had somehow already played GTA 6. Where those specific claims actually came from isn’t clear. Separately, the leaker known as Cyberleek has put out warnings of their own, saying impersonator accounts are popping up on X, Discord, and Telegram, per TechWiser’s leak timeline.

Where This Leaves Things

Cenat’s done open-ended marathons before without knowing the finish line going in — that part isn’t new for him. What is new is the scale of the unknown here. Rockstar hasn’t released anything close to a completion checklist for GTA 6, so even Cenat’s own past marathons don’t give much of a real benchmark to compare it to.
