Hey GTA Fans! GTA 6 has two protagonists, one of whom is the first playable female character in Grand Theft Auto, which is basically common knowledge at this point. It took only a few decades.
We all know GTA VI is coming and it will (probably) hit in March 2025. As of last year, there is a lot of footage of an early build of the game online, and it was this footage that established two of the most persistent rumours: GTA VI is in Vice City, and one of the game’s two playable characters is a woman.
Leakers gave away the name of GTA VI’s female protagonist, Lucia, but what else? We don’t know about her. That hasn’t stopped her from making a (the first) female protagonist on the minds of fans impatient for Rockstar Games to make one.
We’re not even discussing the typical vocal minority of screeching manbabies who’ve never seen a woman in real life and get triggered whenever one is mentioned in a video game. A spectacular Lucia render that gave us our first good look at her was made from all of the leaks we say, that have since been purged from the internet.
Fans are even more excited for Lucia to come now that they have seen this video. Even though this isn’t a real look at the character, it’s a great teaser of what’s to come.

A fan wrote, “I hope that all these years that we have waited for GTA 6, the details and realism of the characters will be at this level.”
Another wrote, “She looks gives me the chills watching with this EPIC shows how far we’ve come, these are exciting times, we just need more empathy towards one another. WE are all in this together.”
GTA 6 Female Protagonist is Great for Fans
With a female protagonist, GTA 6 can be played in an entirely new manner. So, it’ll be fascinating to witness how Rockstar Games handles the character and her place in the world. Will her being a woman make people treat her differently? Will she face situations and get a chance to do stuff that no one else will? Let’s see when the game launches properly.
