Rockstar Games Working on GTA 6 for Almost a Decade

People have been working on making Grand Theft Auto 6 for almost ten years now. Some secret information that just came out also talks about two new Bully games.

We heard about these things shortly after a report about Take-Two’s money mentioned when GTA 6 might come out. Rockstar takes a long time to make their games, but they keep working hard on new Grand Theft Auto games.

They started making GTA 5 around 2008 after GTA 4 came out. They also began planning GTA 4 in November 2004, when GTA: San Andreas was released.

It seems that GTA 6 has been developed in a way that’s similar to the past. Someone found a LinkedIn profile of Jon Young, who used to work for the company that makes the game.

He said he worked on GTA 6 for three years until 2018, after working there for 13 years. This suggests that the game must have started being made by 2015 at the latest, maybe around the time they released GTA 5 for PC in spring.

Young mentioned that he worked on making two more parts of a game called Bully in 2008. We already know that Bully 2 was being made and then stopped. But Young, who used to work at the company that makes the game, is the first person to say that even Bully 3 was being planned.

Young’s job at Rockstar was to write about the company’s work and film in different places to help other parts of the company. This means he was involved in their projects from the very beginning.

We don’t know if Bully 3 got past the early planning stage, but Bully 2 was in the works and almost finished by 2010. People who used to work inside the company said they had made around six hours of the game before they decided not to finish it.

Regarding the next Grand Theft Auto game, new information suggests that GTA 6 has been worked on for almost twice as much time as the previous game before it.

The long wait for the game that many people are excited about might be almost over. A reliable source recently said that GTA 6 might come out around the holiday season 2024.
