A new leak for Genshin Impact has given us a sneak peek at the enemies we’ll face in the Spiral Abyss during the upcoming Version 4.2 update. Spiral Abyss has been a major challenge for players since the game’s launch in September 2020.
It’s where you take on tough versions of the game’s enemies. Each update usually brings fresh enemies to the Abyss, making it a fun challenge for players. And now, we’re getting a hint of what’s coming in the next update.
In Genshin Impact’s Spiral Abyss, each set of challenges usually introduces the latest enemies in the game. In Version 4.1, you’ll face the Millennial Pearl Seahorse and the Experimental Field Generator on Floor 12.
This update also brings new buffs that revolve around manipulating your characters’ HP and are designed to help the newest characters, Neuvillette and Wriothesley. Interestingly, leaks are already suggesting that Version 4.2 will bring new enemies to Floor 12.
A recent leak from a well-known Genshin Impact source, Bebe, has given us a sneak peek at the upcoming challenges in Version 4.2’s Spiral Abyss.
In Floor 12-1, players will face off against various elemental foes, including Rifthounds and Abyss Mages in the first half and the formidable Sumeru’s Matrix boss in the second half.
Moving on to Floor 12-2, the first half will introduce Fontaine’s new Meka enemies, while the second half will have players confronting Sumeru’s Jadeplume Terrorshroom.
Finally, Floor 12 will conclude with a battle against the Emperor of Fire and Iron World boss in the first half of Chamber 3, followed by a showdown with the Nemesis of Coppelia in the second half. Get ready for some epic battles in the Spiral Abyss!
In Genshin Impact’s upcoming Version 4.2, there won’t be any new enemies in the endgame content. However, this update will bring two new bosses: one as a world boss and the other as Fontaine’s first weekly boss. There are also leaks hinting at more overworld enemies in the Fontaine region. You can look forward to the Version 4.2 update, expected to be released on November 8th.
