Every chess piece in Genshin Impact players, accompanied by Jeht, will find the Temple of Gurabad filled with sand, with just Deshret’s Glass Goblet Chess Piece visible in the central region.
Once Jeht and Azariq have explored the area, a mechanism will cause the courtyard’s sands to be swept away, revealing a massive chessboard. If the sand is cleared, the player can enter Liloupar’s Cell and make their way to the Jinni.

Each Chess Piece in Genshin Impact 3.4 Sumeru is found in a chain of World Quest. Five different Chess Pieces can be obtained:
- King Deshret’s Pillar
- Border Fort
- Soulferry
- Khaj-Nisut
- Temple of Gurabad
Liloupar will return to Gurabad to say goodbye to the protagonist when the Apocalypse Lost quest is initiated by placing all the Chess Pieces on the Chess Board in Safhe Shatranj. Putting all the Chess Pieces also allows players to find Genshin Impact Activation Devices.
You can earn a Remarkable Chest by activating the seven Activation Devices. An Achievement worth five Primogems will be awarded to players once they have repaired all seven Devices.

Flowing Sand Like Tears Temple: King Deshret’s Pillar Quest
The chess piece of the Pillar of Deshret, King of the Sands, may be found in the Temple Where Sand Flows Like Tears. Once you have released Genshin Impact Liloupar from her imprisonment, an Exquisite Chest will appear at the base of the tree she was chained to.

The Falcon’s Hunt: A Quest for the Temple of Gurabad
Unlike the other four Chess Pieces found in The Dirge of Bilqis quest chain, the Temple of Gurabad Chess Piece in Genshin Impact is located in The Falcon’s Hunt quest. After players complete The Dirge of Bilqis, approach Jeht the next day to activate the Rejoice With Me, For What Was Lost Is Now Found search.
This will inspire players to try and fix Benben. Speak to Masseira at the Tanit Camp to begin the Falcon’s Hunt quest line. Genshin Impact is available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. There are plans to make a Switch version available.
