Destiny 2 Season Of The Seraph: After hearing from players that they hadn’t completed a secret mission or major secret puzzle in a while, Bungie made a point in a recent TWAB to reassure them that fresh secrets were on the way for Destiny 2.
It was hinted that some were very close at hand: tomorrow should provide a new exotic quest for a multi-catalyst weapon, Revision Zero, which is not a secret per se, but it may come associated with a few. To now, fans of Season of the Seraph have uncovered two important secrets, one of which appears to be related to this exotic and the other of which may be…something else.

Destiny 2 Season Of The Seraph
After the first few days of the new season, many players have noticed the sudden appearance of mysterious new objects in seemingly random locations across the world map. If I were to characterize them, I would say that they are…big balls, perhaps resembling Bray-based technology.

More than 35 have been discovered so far, and it seems likely that there will be 50 in all, just like the other collectibles Destiny has added to the game in the past. Due to their immunity to gunfire, it is generally agreed that we should be given the new exotic weapon the day after tomorrow and entrusted with dispersing fifty of these balls around the solar system using only that weapon.
The payoff will be… what, exactly? Multiple factors have been identified as initiating Revision Zero. As it stands, I believe that solving the exotic mission’s puzzles, or completing the task on “hard mode,” will yield a single catalyst. To get the other, you need to track down 50 balls.

I haven’t found any conclusive evidence yet, and it’s possible it’s just a decorative item, but I have a strong suspicion it has anything to do with the aforementioned exotic. Since the dungeon bow was ineffective, this must be the key.
Gateways to the World: Hakke Terminals
These terminals with a holographic Hakke emblem may be located at the end of various lost sectors in Destiny 2 right now. Hakke is a weapon foundry that specializes in making heavy weapons that can do significant damage to structures. You can go close to the terminal, but it will alert you that “Access Denied: Cipher Required.”
Since the new exotic appears to have nothing in common with Hakke, its intended meaning is obscure. Aside from the entry about how the Hakke upgraded a glaive they found (the new Seraph one), I haven’t seen much Hakke lore this season.

This could be part of the story missions, where one week we might have to go around and find all these as some sort of thing to help build Rasputin’s frame, or it could be something else entirely. I’m not going to assume that this is some massive riddle just because the word “cipher” is attached to it; nonetheless, I do not know where this particular problem is leading me.

That concludes this season’s pairings. The arrival of the exotic quest tomorrow might shed more light on the situation, but until then we’ll just have to speculate.
