The popular new game, which plays like BioShock, is out today on multiple platforms and is free to play for Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC. The ambiance, art direction, and gameplay of Atomic Heart have been likened favorably to those of BioShock. Critics, however, have said that it lacks BioShock’s level of refinement. While BioShock is undoubtedly among the finest video games ever made, it is tough to find adequate comparisons.
The PC version of the game now has a score of 77 on Metacritic, while the Xbox Series X version has a score of 72. The Xbox One version does not have a Metacritic score since it has not yet received enough reviews to generate one.
What are people’s initial impressions of it? The majority of the 2,401 Steam users who reviewed the game gave it a good score, making it the highest-rated title on Steam’s Best Sellers ranking.
