Cyberpunk 2077 Human Killing Penalty Mod. A new mod out there adds real consequences for killing non-player characters in Cyberpunk 2077, helping those who are having trouble keeping the peace. The dystopian science fiction role-playing game has come a long way since its 2020 release, and fans have been flocking back to it because of the improvements.

Further, the $1.85 million settlement in the lawsuit against CD Projekt Red is a positive step toward allowing the Polish developer to put this unpleasant chapter behind its history. Cyberpunk 2077’s possible inclusion in Xbox Game Pass has also been the subject of speculation.

A closer examination of a leaked image that seemingly foreshadowed the game’s arrival on the Microsoft service revealed that this information was much older than initially thought. This means it’s unlikely that CDPR will be available on Game Pass when it launches, but that won’t stop fans from holding out hope.

In addition to the resurgence caused by the many significant updates that addressed many of the game’s early issues, many mods are also available to keep things interesting. Nexus Mods user Reverend Ursa has released “Instant Karma” for Cyberpunk 2077, as spotted by PCGamesN.

When this patch is activated, players are effectively prevented from engaging in violent behavior within Night City, as doing so will result in their death. However, the description specifies that this only applies to human NPCs, so any non-humans you manage to dispatch won’t count.

Similarly, it disregards any murders committed by the player after they have switched to Johnny Silverhand. Besides, being incapacitated will not set off the karma-based mod. Despite the game’s grim setting and bloody scenes, a pacifist playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077 is possible, with some exceptions (such as during specific story beats).

It’s difficult, especially if you like to go in guns blazing in your open-world games. As such, a modification like “Instant Karma” would be an excellent means of compelling players to reconsider their problem-solving approach.

Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t all mindless killing and destruction, thanks to the game’s many romantic possibilities. The best role-playing games provide players with a variety of options and experiences.

While CD Projekt Red’s release is undoubtedly violent, some players may like to buck the trend and opt for a more tranquil experience. Available today for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox One S is Cyberpunk 2077.
