Cursed To Golf: Play the role of The Cursed Golfer, a golfer who is cursed to spend eternity in Golf Purgatory after a rare accident renders them unable to take the shot that would win them an international competition. According to urban legend, if you play your way through all of Golf Purgatory’s tricky holes, you will be able to return to the world of the living and, more importantly, claim the trophy you were so close to claiming.
You will be guided through the magical mysteries of golf by a spectral Legendary Caddie, who watches over each hole and will help you on your journey to find redemption and revitalization. A new spin on both the golfing and roguelike subgenres is brought to the table by Cursed to Golf.
If you don’t manage to go past a hole in the allotted amount of strokes, your curse will send you back to the beginning of the course. Gameplay
The player, who was a professional golfer who was murdered by lightning shortly before the finish of the competition, is condemned to Golf Purgatory, where they are greeted by a gigantic spirit who goes by the name The Scotsman.
The Scotsman explains to them that in order to be revived, they have to finish a course that consists of eighteen holes, but they will perish if they take more than the allotted number of strokes on any one of the holes, and they will have to start over from the very beginning.
