The city-building game Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic takes as its primary focus the Cold War era communist economies of Eastern Europe and their relationship to urban planning. Thus, it’s not for everyone, but it does have its supporters.

Developer 3Division of Slovakia claims in a statement that a previously respected member of our community has turned malicious and is attempting to get all internet references to the game, including trailers and the official website, removed.
Why? Players claim that one prominent member of the community wrote a tutorial detailing how to play the game more realistically and that devs decided to include him in the game’s credits as a nice gesture.
After being told he wouldn’t be thanked publicly until after this new mode was introduced, this player allegedly started to misuse the YouTube report system issuing copyright strikes to one of our most helpful influencers, according to 3Division’s statement.

The gamer allegedly retaliated by first reporting the game’s website, which was eventually taken down (the URL now leads back to 3Division’s main company page), and then reporting additional official YouTube videos from the studio.
The gamer is now alleging that they hold the rights to the [realistic] game mode, and the situation has escalated to the point where the game has been removed from Steam owing to a DMCA request. 3Division has stated that they are attempting to remedy the situation.
