Actor Jensen Ackles just showed the Atomic Way in a new teaser trailer for the highly anticipated first-person shooter Atomic Heart, developed by indie studio Mundfish.
Within the first thirty seconds of the new video, a girl wearing a wand and a pointed wizard cap begins whirling around as she casts a spell against a gray mannequin with a very unhappy face. As if the joke weren’t obvious enough, she recites faux incantations using the words Belyash and vatrushka, which are both names for Russian desserts.

Despite the presence of Jensen Ackles, who is there to teach her how to live through the coming robot apocalypse without resorting to outrageous violence, her spell backfires. Ackles is shown in the clip, what may be a representation of technology-based magic, smashing a dummy with a big weapon and firing lightning from a device on his palm.

Focus Entertainment, the game’s publisher, released a special teaser featuring Ackles as Major Nechaev to commemorate the game’s years-long development. It won’t be much longer till Atomic Heart is out in the world. The ex-Supernatural star is seen in the trailer slaughtering a large number of enemies with a wide assortment of weapons, including his signature polymer glove.
Things to Look Forward to
In an alternate history, the Soviet Union became a post-scarcity utopia where the wants of its citizens were easily met by an army of robotic slaves. Major Sergei “P-3” Nechaev, a mentally ill military commander, narrates the story, which is said to take place in the Soviet Union’s advanced research center Facility 3826.
On the orders of the prominent Soviet scientist Dmitry Sechenov, Major Nechaev travels to Facility 3826 to investigate why the AI personnel there have suddenly begun assaulting people and to restore the facility’s internal systems.
It has been demonstrated in previous trailers for Atomic Heart that the game features a number of different gameplay concepts. Images of the polymer glove are included, which provided its wearers with a wide range of superpowers such as the capacity to telekinetically move items and imprison opponents in ice.
Atomic Heart also featured a wide array of melee and ranged weapons, in addition to mod support and the ability to make your own weapons. It’s expected that the new game’s open world, which will include five different complexes and up to 25 hours of content, would also appeal to intrepid players.
