The most recent game from Ubisoft to be included in the Xbox Game Pass library is Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which can be played right now on the platform. The game is currently available for download on consoles and personal computers for subscribers.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Ubisoft has made next-gen adjustments to the game so that it can run at 60 frames per second on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox One X/S. This was accomplished through the use of backward compatibility.

AC Odyssey is one of the Assassin’s Creed games that is the largest and most expansive in the franchise. It provides the player with more than 60 hours of material, which includes a variety of interesting side quests, downloadable content, and other optional pursuits.

The events of the game take place in the city-states of Greece between the years 431-422 BC, and the players assume the position of either Kassandra or Alexios, a famed mercenary who has been banished from Spartan society.

The game is different from the earlier entries in the series that came before Assassin’s Creed Origins and expands on the role-playing, open-world gameplay that was introduced in Assassin’s Creed Origins. In addition to Metal Hellsinger and Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is now available on Xbox Game Pass.

On Xbox Game Pass, you may now download several games that were previously announced for the month of September. One of these games is Metal Hellsinger, which was released on Day One. It is a good thing that AC Odyssey has been added to the back catalog because it is widely regarded as one of the finest games in the series and has acquired a devoted fanbase in the years since it was first released.

It is also helpful that Ubisoft has continued to maintain the game well after its initial debut date with substantial downloadable content (DLC), such as the Fate of Atlantis, which on its alone will take players anywhere from 20 to 30 hours to finish.

Although, in the opinion of many, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey strays way too far from the series’ origins, and as a result, the game ends up having a very different feel from the typical AC outings that gamers have become accustomed to. AC Odyssey is going to be just up your alley if you like open-world games that are expansive and include stories with amazing choice-based endings and character customization options.
