Last year, footage from the forthcoming Grand Theft Auto got public in one of the most significant leaks in gaming history. It wasn’t the ideal method to find out, but it appears that we’ll be returning to Vice City.
Is there anything else that has happened since then? Are there any new rumors, leaks, or maybe a GTA 6 trailer? Fans have been investigating, guessing, and exchanging ideas despite Rockstar Games’ relative silence on the news front. So, has anything new come to light since last year?
This week is going to be a significant week for GTA 6, complete with a probable trailer. Furthermore, some individuals allege that this trailer has already been leaked. Is this correct?
GTA 6 Trailer Release Date
The wait for an official update on GTA 6’s release date continues after enthusiasts believed they had discovered some top-secret information earlier this month. Still, it has subsequently been found that developer Rockstar did not submit this, and it is, therefore, false.
I can now confirm that Grand Theft Auto VI announcement is set to release on 26th October 2023.

This indicates that, while work on the open world continues, the label isn’t yet at the point where it’s getting the game classified around the world, which is often one of the last steps before an official release date is revealed.
We know that parent firm Take-Two expects the game to be released between April 2024 and March 2025, but plans are subject to change.
It’s been a decade since GTA 5, and while the developer has employed GTA Online to keep Los Santos seeming fresh, the game is now showing its age. The rumor is that GTA 6 will have a Bonnie and Clyde-style storyline, which has been essentially confirmed by numerous high-profile leaks over the years. The wait for a decent reveal trailer continues.

GTA 6 Trailer Leaks and Rumors
In case you missed yesterday’s Rockstar announcement, instead of a GTA 6 trailer, we received a Red Dead Redemption Online costume instead. Yay. Seriously, it’s not that the outfit isn’t cool; it’s just that it’s not exactly exciting news when an entire community is nearly meeting itself in space anytime a particular game isn’t officially shown.
This month’s devilish and dapper Red Dead Online community-inspired outfit comes from YouTuber @BoganBav.

The fine assortment of memes that have inundated social media perfectly portrays the frustration that gamers are experiencing. Some chose to express their dismay, “You posting about the wrong game, lil bro,” while others went much further, “I might get old, have three kids split up with my wife, and Grand Theft Auto 6 will still not be announced.”
Given the likelihood of a delay, the concept that we might be reaching the end of the world by the time GTA 6 is released feels less and less ridiculous by the day.
So we’re back to rumors, from fretting about “disgusting” price leaks to claims that the game’s graphics are “lightyears ahead” of RDR II.
I can’t help but wonder whether this repetitive song and dance will cause players to lose interest in the game by the time it comes out; it’s being dangerously built up, and as we saw with Starfield, sometimes the only way out is down. But we’ll keep going because we don’t have any other option.
