An additional feature reportedly planned for the next GTA 5 update was purportedly eliminated at some point during the development process, maybe due to the potential mess it would have caused Rockstar Games in terms of moderation.
A fresh datamining leak claims that the latest Los Santos Dr*g Wars: The Last Dose update originally intended to allow players to create the name of their acid lab and the substance itself. The video below demonstrates that the function was included in the game but abruptly removed. Why is the question?
Some have stated that giving players the option to name their dr*g could be a moderation nightmare Rockstar Games didn’t want to have. The dr*g lab name customization has the same moderation difficulties, though.
Thus Rockstar Games has previously planned for this. It may be just a step too far. Giving players the option to name the medicines pushes the envelope further. Calling your own dr*g business is one thing.

Calling the pills, however, is another. This is GTA 5, where you can trample people underfoot in large numbers and launch a rocket into a traffic bottleneck you consciously manufactured. Pushing the limits wouldn’t be a problem, in our opinion.
Although these two hypotheses fall short of the mark, it’s unclear whether there are any possibilities other than Rockstar Games reserving the feature for a future update.
WildBrick142, the Twitter user who found the function, points out some evidence that it might be incomplete, which would explain why it wasn’t implemented. The weak supporting evidence for this theory is its only drawback.
A fun piece of #GTAOnline #cutcontent from the latest DLC: R* planned for you to be able to name your Acid Product, not just the Lab. First time naming is free, then it's $5000 to rename.
The feature is fully* supported and functional, so here's hoping it'll be available next DLC pic.twitter.com/LkGvY9Lj9m

And by "fully" i mean, it works but appears to be unfinished – the game might not use the name you give it, depending on the Sell Mission.
It's also not something that will be enabled with a tunable update. It would at the very least require a background script update to enable. pic.twitter.com/E9DqAGJWWz

Why Rockstar Games removed this feature is a mystery. It might be because the part has the potential to be offensive. It can also be the case if the project isn’t finished. Of course, there might be a factor that we haven’t considered.
