The newest teaser for Halo Infinite season 4 gives us an accurate view of Infection. One of the cornerstones of Xbox is the Halo franchise, which has grown significantly since the early 2000s.
It is a franchise that is constantly evolving and improving, from the advent of Xbox Live, enabling PvP multiplayer to four-player co-op and Forge mode.
Halo Infinite’s multiplayer and campaign both adopted a more “live service” approach, which, while it seemed like a beautiful idea on paper, actually did the game more harm than good due to poor implementation and upkeep.
Season 4 has now been available for one and a half years. The upcoming season of Halo Infinite will feature a ton of fresh content and enhancements to the game’s quality of life, including the introduction of Infection.
One of the most popular Halo multiplayer modes is Infection, where players must struggle to survive as one player uses an energy sword to “infect” others. The game becomes more frantic as more players are eliminated, prompting players to flee and attempt to hide.
It’s lovely to see it return in Halo Infinite, which joins fresh features like new maps and the threat seeker ability. Players won’t have to wait long for the action since the new season will launch as a free update on June 20th.
It demonstrates Halo Infinite’s pace, given that Call of Duty has been available for less than a year and just published its fourth season. We currently have no idea what the game’s future will include.

While the length of 343 Industries’ support for the game is unknown, it is unlikely that a brand-new Halo game will be released for a considerable amount of time, given that the team’s initial intention was to support Infinite for many years.
