Several prospective PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X Black Friday combos have appeared online, indicating that both Sony and Microsoft intend to offer significant console discounts later this month.
The leak itself is EU-specific, so even if the information included within is correct, it remains to be seen whether the advertised savings will wind up reaching the United States, given that the PS5 and Xbox Series X are already cheaper in the US than elsewhere.
Black Friday is on November 24 this year. However, as is customary, many stores and other businesses began providing appealing product offers in early November and aim to continue doing so throughout the month.
In terms of console discounts, Walmart has recently revealed a fantastic pre-Black Friday sale on the PS5 combo with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which will retail for $499 beginning November 8, $60 less than its standard price.
More such deals look to be in the way, at least in Europe; as recently discovered by industry analyst MauroNL, a PS5 bundle including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has just emerged on Amazon Germany for €499, €120 less than its original advertised price.
The same Xbox Series X package is also available on Amazon in the Netherlands for €489. The Dutch listing appears to have been withdrawn within hours of its debut. However, the German listing is still active as of November 6. The latter is slated for November 10, which coincides with the global release of Modern Warfare 3.
Microsoft will offer a Xbox Series X ‘soft’ bundle with a copy of COD Modern Warfare III at €489 in Europe. Thats about €130 below RRP. Likely a Black Friday offer.

While Sony and Microsoft may launch comparable Black Friday bargains in the US, the magnitude of their potential savings may not reach the 20% price cuts promised by these recently leaked EU listings.
This is mainly due to the fact that both the PlayStation 5 Disc Edition and the Xbox Series X are generally available for $499 in the United States, making the consoles up to 20% cheaper than in the European Union, depending on the market.
