Wild Hearts: A new gameplay trailer for Wild Hearts, which was developed in partnership between Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force and EA Originals, has been formally released to the public. It is set in medieval Japan and includes hunters facing some gorgeously drawn monsters known as Kemono. These creatures have weirdly blended with nature, flora and fauna intermingled. The Monster Hunter series served as an inspiration for the creation of this game.

Wild Hearts
This is the game for you if you’ve ever fantasized about taking on a colossal pig with nothing more than a paper umbrella. Kemono may take the form of anything from plant-infused squirrels to the wild boar once referred to as King Tusk. The battle that the players have to wage against Deathstalker, the winter wolf, is what kicks off their quest to bring harmony back to the planet.
It is scheduled to be made available on February 17, 2023, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms (Steam, Epic, Origin). The use of a magical technology known as Karakuri, which allows for the rapid production of various devices, such as a propellor for gliding through the air, a big pounding hammer, or exploding explosives, is the game’s primary innovative premise.
There are also a number of weapons, such as bows and paper umbrellas, as well as a katana that can also be used as a whip, and all of these weapons are shown in some visually impressive fighting animations.
Additionally, it will have a cross-play cooperative mode with support for up to three people. According to Yosuke Hayashi, executive vice president of Koei Tecmo, “Wild Hearts gives up to gamers a colorful fantasy world that is as untamed as it is beautiful.”
“Not only did we want to use Wild Hearts to demonstrate the evolution, infusion, and real threat caused by Kemono, but we also wanted to create a game in which crafting was at the core of the experience, redefining what can be possible in a beast hunting game.
This was one of our goals when developing Wild Hearts. We have taken great effort in creating our Karakuri to fit inside the combat, and we are thrilled that players will be able to employ these strong tools to battle gigantic animals and explore the world.” The promotional video urges viewers to “tame a planet gone wild.” I can’t wait to read or see more.
