This month, Valve filed several very intriguing new trademark applications, and they might be connected to the rumors that a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive sequel is in the works.
The business recently submitted two trademark applications for a product known only as “CS2.” Many, however, assume this is a filing for the Counter-Strike series because the trademark’s additional details reveal that it is a game and may involve some level of competition.
Aquarius stated in a tweet:

According to PC Gamer, these most recent “CS2” trademarks were located on the US Patent and Trademark Office website. Valve registered both trademarks on March 14, 2023.
The first CS2 trademark simply states “video game software,” which is probably sufficient to make some inferences and officially link Valve, CS2, and video games.
The second trademark is a little clearer and sounds very much like what Valve and Counter-Strike fans would expect from a future installment of the series:
