2K Sports has announced additional details about TopSpin 2K25, the company’s first new entry in the professional tennis series in almost a decade, including a release date, player list, several editions, and more. The title is being developed by Hangar 13, the same firm that created 2K’s latest Mafia titles.
TopSpin 2K25 will be released on April 26, although those who purchase the Deluxe or Grand Slam editions can begin playing three days earlier, on April 23. The game will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Top Spin 2K25 Release Date
2K Sports has announced that TopSpin 2K25 will be available on April 26th, along with its features. In addition to the release date, the cover athletes for the game have been revealed, as has a brand new trailer showing the game’s looks and functionality.

Tennis legends Serena Williams and Roger Federer will appear on the covers of both the Standard and Grand Slam editions of the game. The Deluxe Edition will include Iga Świątek, Carlos Alcaraz, and Frances Tiafoe.
In terms of features, TopSpin 2K25 will have the four main grand slam tournaments, a MyCareer option where you can play through the ATP tour, a World Tour online mode, and more. Other than the major destinations, no other venues have been announced as of the writing.
Finally, TopSpin 2K25 will have “over 24” former and present tennis stars that you may play offline and online. TopSpin 2K25 will be released for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
Top Spin 2K25 Editions
TopSpin 2K25 will have a MyCareer mode in which you may build an aspiring tennis player and compete against the world’s best in some of the world’s most prestigious tournaments, including Wimbledon.
2K Tour will also have online crossplay multiplayer and a training option where you can train with John McEnroe. There are four editions of TopSpin 2K25, which are described here:
- The Standard Edition will be available for £59.99 on previous-gen platforms (PS4, Xbox One consoles, and PC). The Standard Cross-Gen Digital Edition will be available for £64.99 for current-generation consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X|S).
- The Standard Cross-Gen Digital Edition is compatible with previous and current-gen consoles and PlayStation or Xbox accounts.
- The Deluxe Edition is priced at £84.99 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. The Deluxe Edition includes the Standard Edition (with dual-gen entitlement for console), Under the Lights Pack, New Wave Pack featuring Alternate Outfits for Carlos Alcaraz, Iga Świątek, and Francis Tiafoe, as well as a collection of additional apparel, and the Rookie Rise Pack with a MyPlayer Boost and 1700 VC. The Deluxe Edition will be available three days earlier than the Standard and Cross-Gen Editions on April 23, 2024.
- The Grand Slam® Edition will cost £109.99 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. In addition to the Standard Edition (with dual-gen console entitlement) and all bonus content in the Deluxe Edition, the Grand Slam® Edition includes the Grand Slam® Champions Pack, which includes a special Championship Racket and Champion Serve, as well as the All Access Pass, which includes six post-launch Premium Centre Court Pass Seasons and eight bonus cosmetic items. More details on the content and release schedule for the Centre Court Pass and Premium Centre Court Pass will be announced soon. The Grand Slam® Edition also includes early access, which means it will be accessible to play on April 23, 2024, three days before the Standard and Standard Cross-Gen Editions!
The series concluded with Top Spin 4, which was released in 2011 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii. That was produced by 2K Czech, who later merged with Hangar 13. Hangar 13 is developing TopSpin 2K25. The game will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
