Not only is 2023 a great year to be a fan of Amy, but it’s also a great year to be a fan of Sonic. Since Sonic ’06 was released more than 15 years ago, she has been on the sidelines for years.
She will be playable in three different Sonic games this year, Superstars, Frontiers, and Origins Plus; thus, her fortune is changing. Even better, the latter game has another thing up its sleeve for us.
Sonic Origins Plus will finally grant Amy access to her own Super form, joining Super Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles, and the rest of the group, who have all had access to the Chaos Emeralds for a long time. Yes, she is now capable of more than just hammering away.

However, it was up long enough for her to be seen. Although it is impossible to examine the original footage, she also has a Hyper form. Amy had really simply been holding back all these years, and in Sonic CD, if she had wanted to, she could have taken on Eggman and Metal Sonic by herself.
