Street Fighter 6 Launch Roster is Complete with Cammy, Lily, and Zangief!

On Thursday, during Sony’s State of Play demonstration, Capcom announced some noteworthy changes to Street Fighter 6, including the addition of three new playable characters: Cammy, Lily, and Zangief. A total of 18 playable characters will be available at the launch of Street Fighter 6.

First seen in Super Street Fighter 2, Cammy is back with her standard repertoire of techniques, including the Spiral Arrow, Cannon Spike, and Hooligan Combo as well as the Super Art moves Killer Bee Spin and Delta Red Assault. Cammy’s King Street stage has been showcased in a new gameplay trailer. The new look and more aggressive motions of Cammy White have won over many fans.

Similarly to Street Fighter stalwart T. Hawk, the brand-new character Lily hails from the Thunderfoot people. On the other hand, Lily arrives at the street brawl with a pair of war clubs and refuses to allow a missed strike to deter her. She’s the newest member of SF6 together with Lily, Jamie, Kimberly, Manon, Marisa, and JP.

Zanyeif, at long last. You’re familiar with Zangief, right? Indeed, he is a character from Street Fighter 2! The man has returned! As a Street Fighter 6 player, he can Cyclone Lariat and Screw Piledriver to his heart’s content. His appearance is superb.

While we do get some fresh views at Zangief and Cammy, the whole lineup for Capcom’s flagship fighting game sequel was leaked months ago, so there aren’t many more surprises in store. Good news: Street Fighter 6 is on the horizon. The next-generation fighting game from Capcom is scheduled for release on June 2 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox One Series X.
