Stormgate Release Date
Stormgate will be released in Early Access on Steam in 2024. No precise release date has been confirmed as of yet. It’s a complicated game, so it might take some time, but keep coming back for developments on Esports Illustrated.

What is Stormgate?
Stormgate is a conventional real-time strategy game that focuses on base building, economy management, and unit control. When the game is released, it will include ranked play (1v1 and 3v3), a campaign, co-op, and custom games, all in which you will control your soldiers in an attempt to destroy the opponent base(s).
It might be difficult to get into sophisticated RTS games, but developers hope that Stormgate will be accessible to newer players.
Kevin Lowering, Lead Co-Op Designer, says the skill floor will be decreased. This includes better tutorials, co-op options, and a better user interface. To facilitate control, multiple spells will include an autocast option.
Will There Be a Stormgate Esports Scene?
One of the most common queries raised by RTS game players is whether Stormgate intends to create an esports ecosystem to restore the genre’s competitive aspect.
Senior Esports Manager Trevor Housten said that it is absolutely in the works. The current aim is to develop a 1v1-rated play circuit split into three seasons for a year. There will be a clear path to professional and third-party events.
