Starfield Screenshots Can Be Used as Loading Screens

In Starfield, when you take pictures while playing the game, you can also use those pictures as loading screens. This means the photo mode in Starfield is not just for saving memories, but you can also use it to decide how your game looks when it’s loading.

The first-ever photo mode in video games became popular with Gran Turismo 4 in 2005. It was quite basic back then, with just a few filters and choices. But it laid the foundation for photo modes in later games.

As time passed, players could take pictures in big games like Halo 3 and The Last of Us. Eventually, more advanced photo modes came in games like Marvel’s Spider-Man, God of War, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

But now, Bethesda’s latest game, Starfield, has taken the idea of a photo mode to a whole new level. It’s even better than what we’ve seen before.

A person on Reddit named qewman101 found something interesting about the game Starfield.

The screenshots you take become loading screens! This is so cool

When you take a picture in the game, that picture can appear as a picture you see while the game is loading, kind of like a screensaver on a computer. It’s like a random surprise each time you wait for the game to start. This idea was first used in another game by the same company, Bethesda, called Fallout 76.

In Starfield, because it’s set in a big and beautiful galaxy, this idea fits even better. You can start using the picture-taking mode early in the game, so you don’t have to wait long to choose what your loading screens will look like.

Many Starfield fans are upset about the loading screens in the game. If you’re playing on an Xbox Series X, the loading screens are pretty quick, only lasting 2-4 seconds. But if you’re using an Xbox Series S or a PC without a fast hard drive (SSD), the loading screens take much longer.

You see these loading screens when you get on a spaceship, go into space, travel to a planet, choose where to land, enter a building, and even when you move from one part of a building to another.

The best thing would be if there were no waiting screens when you play a game. But, if more players find out they can make their own waiting screens, that might make it a little better. Starfield is a game that looks really amazing, and it might have some of the prettiest waiting screens ever.

Starfield Hater Roasted After Slamming NASA Images

Whenever a new video game is about to come out, there are always some people who don’t like it and start criticizing it right away. In the case of Starfield, one person who didn’t like the game judged it too quickly by looking at some pictures, thinking they were from the game.

But it turned out those pictures were actually from NASA, not the game. So, that person made a big mistake, and people online made fun of them for it. Honestly, it’s fair to make fun of this person because they criticized Bethesda’s graphics without even checking where the pictures came from.

But if you look at the tweets about this situation, you can see that NASA was mentioned in earlier tweets. People on Reddit have their own opinions about this.

Fanboy thought real Nasa photos of mars were Starfield screenshots and said it doesn’t look good lol

“F*cking Mars with its piss poor graphics,” is a top Reddit comment by a user named Salty_Impression_985. Another user also said, “God really needs to bring out a graphics update. Earth has outdated graphics, it’s literally billions if years old and it still looks the same just with some addons.”

While those funny comments are entertaining, they show something called “Starfield derangement syndrome.” This means some gamers are going to great lengths to dislike anything connected to Starfield, even if they don’t know much about it.

They’re criticizing things they assume are related to the game, as seen in a recent Reddit discussion. This isn’t about real worries after finding out how the game performs on a PC; it’s more about bashing the game without good information, just based on rumors, leaked pictures, and the belief that they’re right and everyone else is wrong. It’s amusing to watch, but also quite sad.
