Ubisoft just released another trailer for Star Wars Outlaws, this time focusing on the game’s story. The trailer introduces the smugglers and thieves you’ll team up with in the Star Wars universe. The game looks stunning, thanks to the special Snowdrop engine used by developer Massive Entertainment.

The game looks like a lot of fun. You play a character named Kay Vess, a scoundrel aiming to earn her freedom by doing jobs for the underworld’s inhabitants. The trailer includes quick glimpses of Jabba the Hutt, Han Solo frozen in carbonite, and other hidden references for eagle-eyed fans.
What’s even more exciting? The game has an official release date of August 30, just a few months away. This date was leaked earlier in a Japanese version of the trailer and confirmed by Insider Gaming.
Star Wars Outlaws will be out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Amazon Luna, and PC, with preorders available now. The base game costs $70, but there are special editions with extra content like cosmetic DLC, art packs, and an exclusive mission.
With the August release, fans can jump into this game after watching Star Wars: The Acolyte series on Disney+. It’s all part of the expanding Star Wars universe!
