Stevenson also disclosed that the studio is working on a feature that would allow players to revisit select story missions without having to replay the entire campaign.
The update with New Game Plus should be available to all Spider-Man 2 gamers by the end of 2023 — though Stevenson did not specify a date. Notably, Stevenson did not say whether the mission replay capability will be included in the same patch or if it will be added in a later release in 2024.

For the time being, completing the Spider-Man 2 campaign unlocks only the game’s Ultimate difficulty. It’s worth mentioning that there are presently no awards associated with Spider-Man 2’s Ultimate difficulty or the requirement to replay the match. Insomniac did finally add a few New Game Plus awards to Marvel’s Spider-Man, but it’s unknown if it’ll do the same with Spider-Man 2.
