Free-to-play third-person MOBA Smite was developed and published by Hi-Rez Studios in 2014 for PC, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, Nintendo Switch, and Amazon Luna.
In Smite, players assume the role of a deity or goddess from mythology and engage in team-based combat, employing special skills and strategic planning to defeat rival gods and their minions.
The game has a flourishing esports culture with several competitions, including the annual Smite World Championship, which awards a million dollars to the winner. The game also features multiple players versus player (PVP) modes and a large cast of playable characters.
