We’ve been playing new DLC for games we’ve already loved in addition to checking out a plethora of brand-new titles. Reviewing the updated material for Nobody Saves the World, Walkabout Mini Golf, The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk, and Beat Saber.
Critique Of Nobody Saves The World By Frozen Hearth (PS5)
Even though it’s not quite the end of the year, it’s safe to say that Nobody Saves The World from DrinkBox Studios is one of this year’s indie darlings. With the release of the Frozen Hearth DLC, we were eager to return to the game and check out the new additions to what was already a very substantial package.
The Marrow Village is a new area introduced in Frozen Hearth that may be accessed by a teleporter. The Tempering is a tournament featuring many tasks that anybody may take part in. If you do well enough, you’ll be rewarded with medals, and if you collect enough medals, you’ll move through the ranks, eventually becoming a True Being.

It’s not uncommon to see a wide range of rules and mechanisms presented in a single challenge. Consistency in the difficulty level is reflected in the medal system, with a gold medal always being a significant task and a bronze medal usually being within reach. Even though you don’t need a perfect record of success to go on, it’s always rewarding to strive for the next level of recognition. The Mechanic and the Killer Bee are two more playable forms that add to the game’s existing 18 playable forms and allow you to experiment with new combinations of talents.

Analyzing Nobody Saves The World By Frozen Hearth (PS5)
It’s easy to say that Nobody Saves The World from DrinkBox Studios is one of this year’s indie darlings, so we were pleased to return it when the new Frozen Hearth DLC debuted, bringing even more material to an already meaty game.

Everything can be mixed and matched with the current skill set to create new play styles, almost making us wish we could start again with a clean slate, unlocking these new forms early on and bringing them with us for the duration of the campaign. This still allows for a second playthrough, but the new material will seem more experimental to those coming to the game for the first time.
Existing players will enjoy experimenting with various setups to determine what works best in order to obtain better medals in the new tasks, extending your time with these challenges to twice what is originally required to complete them (which only takes around three hours). The best method to play, in theory? It is recommended to begin a campaign early to have access to the new forms, then finish the tale before going back to collect any medals you may have missed. No of your stance, Frozen Hearth strengthens the case for why this is one of the greatest independent films of the year.
A Look At The 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea DLC For Walkabout Mini Golf (Quest)
Walkabout Mini Golf is one of the most widely adopted virtual reality (VR) ideas, and it continues to be a hit in the workplace. You may take a break of many weeks and yet pick up just where you left off, such is the ingrained familiarity of this game. Also, the game’s plethora of downloadable content (DLC) is simple to enjoy now that Mighty Coconut has published its 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea add-on.
After releasing a trilogy based on legendary lost cities, the developer is starting a new trilogy based on the writings of Jules Verne with 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Verne’s writings are timeless fantasy masterpieces, providing the team with yet another chance to showcase their visual prowess in developing innovative new courses. However, you won’t be venturing out into the broad seas of the ocean below; all of the action takes place on board the Nautilus, Captain Nemo’s ship.
Though looking out the windows will reveal underwater marvels, and the interior sights are rich and beautiful. Even though you spend most of your time gazing down at the ground when playing mini golf, it is well worth your time to take a stroll around the course and see the excellent set design. Yes, much as in the original, your otherwise carefree round of golf is interrupted by a big squid. We’re looking forward to the last installment of this trilogy, and for a little over $2/€2, you get another 18 holes of brilliantly constructed mini golf fun.
A Look At The Futon: A Return To The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk (PC)
Back to the Futon is a new piece of downloadable content for The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk on consoles, and we thought it was great in our review of the game. With its substantial amount of extra material, Back to the Futon may be seen as a kind of premium downloadable content for the game’s main campaign.
When compared to the eight chapters in the main game, the inclusion of these four is significant. The level maximum is increased to 16, and a few new items and abilities are included, but otherwise, the gameplay is pretty similar to the original game, which should delight aficionados.
After being picked up by the Dungeon’s Fund, the protagonist in Back to the Futon goes on a journey across time. You can only get out of here if you agree to a task, and this one involves learning more about the history of the place called the Dungeon of Naheulbeuk.
You’ll get to experience more of what made the first game’s combination of comedy and RPG gameplay so enjoyable, as well as meet new opponents kinds and learn new fighting techniques. The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk’s quirky characters and inexplicable fixation with chickens is a welcome change of pace in a genre that takes itself too seriously. If it struck a chord with you, then Back to the Futon is an essential addition to your collection.
Critique Of Beat Saber By Lizzo On The DLC (Quest)
With the support they’ve received, Beat Games now has the ability to add high-profile tunes to Beat Saber’s collection at a reasonably regular frequency, making it the undisputed monarch of rhythm-based VR games. After previous bundles included artists like Lady Gaga and Billie Eilish, their newest addition is a collection of nine tracks from American recording artist Lizzo.
If you’re not familiar with as many of Lizzo’s songs as you may be with those of the aforementioned artists, don’t worry; you can purchase them separately or as part of any of Beat Saber’s other bundles. The nine-song bundle may cost $12, but that’s a significant saving over paying $2 for each song.
The songs that really stuck with us from Lizzo’s new album were Truth Hurts, Tempo (with Missy Elliot), Rumors, and About Damn Time. The compilation has both newer and older songs by Lizzo, allowing her newer admirers to sample a larger variety of her work. The freshly added Arc and Chain notes are highlighted once again, blending classic slicing movements with softer, flowing motions that complement Lizzo’s vocal range.
