The two new costumes were shown as part of the YouTube reveal panel for the tactical shooter’s upcoming season, Operation Deep Freeze (the fourth season of the game’s ninth year), yesterday (November 12). While the season isn’t due to begin until November 28, these packages are already accessible in-game. You can see them in action in the trailer below.

Rainbow Six Siege has recently worked with a number of notable gaming franchises. In late September, a Halo crossover revealed a Master Chief costume for operator Sledge, complete with original Spartan-117 headgear and a Gravity hammer skin for Sledge’s breaching hammer.

Obviously, the Master Chief suit works very well with Rainbow Six Siege because Halo is also a first-person shooter (FPS). However, seeing characters dressed in clothing inspired by two fighting game veterans while running about with firearms is another story. Then, we’ve seen them do it in Fortnite, so we should be used to it by now.

In other Rainbow Six Siege news, the following season will include a new map called ‘Lair’ as well as a new operator named Tubaro. This defense-oriented character can launch freezing Zoto Canisters, which slow foes and momentarily deactivate their gadgets. This skill can be utilized to open up opportunities for your squad to assault or disturb the opposition.
