Sony has revealed a new limited edition bundle for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the sequel to the critically acclaimed superhero game from Insomniac Games. The bundle includes a PS5 console and a DualSense wireless controller with a custom design inspired by the game’s symbiote theme and a voucher for a digital copy.
The PS5 console cover features a black and red design with the symbiote tendrils creeping closer to the white Spider-Man icon, while the back of the console shows the icon of Insomniac’s Advanced Suit. The DualSense wireless controller also has a black and red design with the symbiote taking over a larger portion of the controller.
The bundle and the game’s release will be available on September 1, and pre-orders will begin on July 28. The bundle will cost $499.99, while the standard edition of the game will cost $69.99. For those who already own a PS5 console, Sony will also offer the option to purchase the console cover and the controller separately and different covers for the PS5 Digital Edition.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man (2018) and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales (2020), which follow the adventures of Peter Parker and Miles Morales as they protect New York City from various threats. The sequel will feature Spider-Men as playable characters and new villains like Venom and Kraven the Hunter.
The game will also have a Collector’s Edition that includes a physical copy of the game, a steel bookcase, an art book, a digital soundtrack, and a statue of Venom by Gentle Giant Ltd. The Collector’s Edition will cost $149.99 and be available on September 1.
