Pokemon fans enjoying the latest games in the series, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, have a new challenge to look forward to. The Pokemon Company has announced that a 7-Star Tera Raid featuring Rillaboom, the final evolution of the Galarian grass starter, will be available for a limited time.
Rillaboom is a powerful physical attacker that can use moves like Wood Hammer, Boomburst, and Knock Off. It also has the hidden ability Grassy Surge, which activates Grassy Terrain and boosts its grass-type attacks.
Rillaboom will have a Normal Tera Type to make things even more difficult, making it immune to ghost-type moves and resistant to several other types. The Rillaboom Tera Raid will run from July 28 to July 30 and from August 4 to August 6.

Players who manage to defeat Rillaboom will have a chance to catch it with the Mightiest Mark, a special symbol that indicates its exceptional strength. Rillaboom will also have perfect IVs in every stat, making it a valuable addition to any team.
However, catching Rillaboom will not be easy. Players must prepare their best counters and strategies for this unrivaled drummer. According to some sources, the best Pokemon against Rillaboom are Annihilape and Iron Hands, both fighting-type Tera evolutions that can deal massive damage with moves like Close Combat and Drain Punch.
