The list of February 2023’s free PS Plus games has surfaced online. The average number of free games available to PS Plus users each month is three, and those who redeem them can keep playing them for as long as they remain subscribers.

In January 2023, Sony provided Star Wars: Jedi: Fallen Order, Fallout 76, and Axiom Verge 2 for its customers to enjoy before the March 2023 release of the sequel. It’s important to note that all three PS Plus tiers have access to these free titles, while Extra and Premium members receive additional benefits.

As is customary, February 2023’s lineup of free PlayStation Plus titles was leaked online before Sony’s official announcement. The free games for February 2023’s PlayStation Plus subscription have been revealed, and they include OlliOlli World, Mafia: Definitive Edition, Evil Dead: The Game, and Destiny 2: Beyond Light.

All games on the list have native PS5 releases, making use of the PS5’s capabilities to their fullest extent, except Mafia: Definitive Edition, which is only available for the PS4. PlayStation Plus members should wait for an official statement from Sony before acting on any rumors or leaks they may have heard.

PS Plus subscribers typically receive three games each month, but it appears that in February 2023, they will receive a fourth. The biggest game here is likely Destiny 2: Beyond Light, but the highest-rated is OlliOlli World, with a Metacritic score in the mid-80s.

Free monthly PS Plus titles that have not yet been played have Metacritic scores in the 70s. The leaker also suggests that another game might take the place of Mafia: Definitive Edition in some territories. It’s not unheard of for PlayStation Plus subscribers in Asia to receive a special treat or even a new game every month.

In October 2022, PS Plus members in Asia received two additional games for five. Sony has not officially announced the new games coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in February 2023, but a list of those games that will be removed from the service has been made accessible.

Twelve games, including Metro Exodus, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition, Saints Row: The Third Remastered, and more, will be removed from PS Plus Extra in the coming month.

Get Ready for Free PS Plus Games in February 2023

Once again, billbil-kun has leaked the upcoming month’s free games for PlayStation Plus members. The games included in February’s PS Plus Essential lineup are OlliOlli World, Evil Dead: The Game, Mafia: Definitive Edition, and Destiny 2: Beyond Light.

An official PlayStation announcement is forthcoming, and all freebies should be available for claim beginning on February 7. Furthermore, the leak suggested that Mafia: Definitive Edition might not be released everywhere. If that’s the case, billbil-kun said another game would be played instead of Mafia in your area.

The very high volume of February’s schedule makes it stand out. Three games every month has been the norm for the past few years. We anticipate that February’s return to four freebies will be an outlier. There was a deviation from the norm in preparation for the February 28 release of Destiny 2: Lightfall, a fresh new significant expansion.

PS4 owners can get the 2020 addition for Destiny 2 for free. If you haven’t played Destiny 2 before, you can get the game’s foundational experience for free by downloading the game’s basic game, and then you can decide if you want to invest in the game by purchasing Beyond Light.

The PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 editions of Beyond Light will also be provided at no cost. You should undoubtedly check OlliOlli World on PlayStation Plus if you couldn’t play it when it first came out last year. This skateboarding game has some extreme velocity for a side-scrolling title.

Smooth controls and a wide variety of difficulty levels and obstacles. Our OlliOlli World review gave it a score of 9/10. And in the meantime, Evil Dead is an asymmetric multiplayer online survival horror game. It came out last year with mostly positive reviews, so if you’re looking for a new game to enjoy with pals, it might be a decent option.

Mafia: Definitive Edition is a breath of new air for fans of open-world games who have grown weary of the glut of content. The open-world gameplay in Mafia: Definitive Edition, a fantastic replica of the original game from 2002, has been pared down to focus entirely on the game’s story missions, which are spread across the map.

  • Destiny 2: Beyond Light (PS5, PS4)
  • OlliOlli World (PS5, PS4)
  • Evil Dead: The Game (PS5, PS4)
  • Mafia: Definitive Edition (PS4)
